And before you bash my taste in movies, here are some classics I love: - It's a Mad mad, mad mad, mad mad world (1963) - Colossus: The Forbin Project (1970) - The Party (1968) - Forbidden Planet (1956) - Whatever happened to Baby Jane? (Bette Davis, 1962) - The Shining - Carrie (1976) - One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Legend of Hell House - Planet of the Apes (1968) - Andromeda Strain (1971) (also: Watch Martin Scorsese's "Hugo" (2011). While not a classic movie exactly, it... well... you should watch it). Now you know I like GOOD movies, right? Here are some more GOOD movies you should watch: Captain America, the First Avenger, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Even if you don't care about the MCU, you will probably like Captain America the First Avenger. It takes place in the 40's, its fun and interesting and has some really goof sci-fi. Winter Soldier "feels" like a cold-war spy thriller, but its much more. If after watching these 2 movies you don't become hooked, then there's no hope for you. |

The movie is classic 70s fair. Man steals a car and gets a hot broad because of it. He then accidentally kills a man becomes an outlaw.. forms an ethical gang of bank robbers and everyone but the hot chick gets killed by the cops. Toss in some low grade car chases, gun fights and a naked magic mushroom scene and you've got a movie built around Linda Carter's tits and ass. |

When I first saw the movie I honestly didn't care for it and found it mostly forgettable. A year or so later I watched it again just because there was nothing else on, and found that I liked it. As a movie, there's nothing really outstanding about it as far as direction goes. It would never win best director. What I liked about it the second time around was the story (origin story). I was just really starting to get into the MCU, by the time, so the story became alot more interesting to me. The other thing that jumped out at me were the visual effects. I really did not notice all of the scenes with "Skinny Steve" the first time around. These geniuses did an outstanding job in my opinion. Anyway if you're not into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then this movie probably wouldn't be interesting to anyone, and if its not, it wouldn't stand out as a good movie. I ended up liking it alot at the second viewing. And the third... The new Thor movie looks like alot of fun.... :) Cheers! |
