Seems we found a Republican with balls...

His name is Bob Corker - too bad he's gonna resign, I guess otherwise his career would be over now anyways

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/08/u...=top-news&_r=0

Quote:

WASHINGTON ? Senator Bob Corker, the Republican chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, charged in an interview on Sunday that President Trump was treating his office like ?a reality show,? with reckless threats toward other countries that could set the nation ?on the path to World War III.?
Quote:

In an extraordinary rebuke of a president of his own party, Mr. Corker said he was alarmed about a president who acts ?like he?s doing ?The Apprentice? or something.?

?He concerns me,? Mr. Corker added. ?He would have to concern anyone who cares about our nation.?

crockett 10-08-2017 06:35 PM

Bahh just because they grow a spine for half a day doesn't mean they have balls. If that were the case McCain would actually be outraged about the things he claims he's outraged about before he previously votes in favor of it..

At this point I don't think there is a single Republican with a spine. They've let a man child walk all over them for the past year doing nothing at all while he fucks the country. Show me a Republican voting for impeachment and I'll show you a Republican who has a spine and actually cares about this country..

Barry-xlovecam 10-08-2017 06:42 PM

65 and out -- good man.

Now he can chump the trump for sport.

Corker tweeted the Whitehouse was run like an *adult day care center* and the help failed to show up :laughing-

Bladewire 10-08-2017 06:47 PM

Corker is very smart and has been attacking Trump all year. He's a Southern man of character & resolve that doesn't suffer fools well :thumbsup

RedFred 10-08-2017 07:04 PM

Corker tweeted this morning, ?It?s a shame the White House has become an adult day care center. Someone obviously missed their shift this morning.?

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Corker was originally a Trump backer and will be the first Republican Senator to call for Trumps impeachment.

TheDynasty 10-08-2017 07:07 PM

good for Corker

Barry-xlovecam 10-08-2017 07:11 PM

The Senate is at a stalemate.
Shumer blew off Trump plea to repeal and replace the ACA 'Obamacare'

So now, Trump wants to sell exempt short term healthcare policies across state lines that can discriminate to only accept the healthiest persons at lower than ACA rates. The elderly and sick buying ACA healthcare market policies will see dramatic increase when the insured pool has only high cost people left.

Result: Destroy Obamacare from the inside with an obtuse end-run.

A really great health plan: Obamacare policies few can afford and premature death.

The good part is that Trump is digging himself a hole he won't be able to get out of. Hopefully this doesn't get too many people killed. I am convinced that Trump probably drove that mass murder nutcase over the edge in Las Vegas last week -- expect more of that to come probably. The orchestra director can disclaim responsibility for a single musician's malfeasance for only so long ...

He'd be the perfect man to do that :thumbsup

In your opinion, how many Democrat voters, if offered a cheaper insurance solution for the young and healthy, would buy into that plan?

onwebcam 10-08-2017 07:46 PM

He's hated here in his home state and no one was behind him. Another Washington establishment P.O.S. with one foot out the door. Lamar Alexander will be right behind him.

He doesn't have balls, he's being dragged out kicking and screaming.

Sen. Bob Corker could face conservative primary challenger

Safe to assume you didn't read the link?

Haslam was hoping to fill his spot but we poo poo'ed that idea as well.

Blackburn in, Haslam out as race for Bob Corker's Senate seat takes shape in Tennessee - CNNPolitics

I've said it many times before, We the People are going to fuck shit up for awhile so get use to it.

I'm sure you tolerant liberals will be accepting of a woman taking his place right? Or will she not count as a woman because she's conservative? I have to admit though, she does have more balls than Corker.

Pushing conspiracies and calling people who don't agree with you names over the internet isn't "fucking things up" :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Trump breaking his campaign promises is definitely fucking things up for him we agree on that point :thumbsup "Mexico will pay for the wall" "affordable healthcare for everyone""repeal and replace in the first 30 days" hehe

Personally other than Obamacare I could give a shit less if Trump or any of them for that matter gets anything else accomplished his entire term/s. Those fucks can sling shit and jack themselves and each other off for years for all I care. For people like me it's more about taking a wrecking ball to the Washington establishment. Trump has done exceptional as far as I'm concerned. Better than I ever imagined. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

You like to throw around the "Trump isn't getting shit done" BS a lot. Well, Trump can't write laws. The establishment in the House and Senate can't get shit done... And all of them will get tossed because of it. That is except for the Dems. You liberals will keep the best tools in our shed such as Waters and Pelosi.

Right you're a one issue voter. The thing is a lot of Trump supporters are one issue voters, for issues other than yours, so him doing nothing other than replacing Obamacare with Trumpcare is a failure for his re election and a failure for American democracy.

I read this too and LOL'ed. It was a smart response to a stupid Trump tweet.

Wrong. Trump is President because MANY people like me are sick and fucking tired of Washington spending all their time and all of our money on other countries problems. There's the 1 issue many of us agreed on.

I never knew that submitting to popular opinion nowadays equals to 'having balls'. It used to be the opposite.

Paul Markham 10-09-2017 09:11 AM

they only have spines when they resign. Until then they are for sale to the highest bidder.

Rochard 10-09-2017 09:32 AM

There is a difference between someone with balls and someone with nothing to lose.

What we have now is the Republicans are "kind of" supporting trump because if they give the impression they are not supporting him, they will lose votes come next election.

This is batshit crazy. Our president has no fucking clue of what he is doing and is doing a piss poor job of it.

Retiring next year, nothing to loose and indepndently wealthy.... If he was not, he would be a "castrato" like the rest of them. :2 cents:

Wrong

Corker has been attacking Trump all year since February and he's retiring because the Republican party has lost all integrity and is letting a manbaby fuck up the party and the nation. We lost 33,000 jobs last month in America, growth has stunted while the rich are making bank in the stock market bubble.

ilnjscb 10-10-2017 03:40 AM

LOL Corker has a Trump score of 87.5 on 538 - so he "only" votes with him 85+ percent of the time. With enemies like that who needs friends?

Except for the part where he supported the orange moron until he didn't. So suddenly Corker has integrity? Sorry no.

VRPdommy 10-10-2017 08:54 AM

I might just remind you that he is not running in the next election. He is not resigning. I think he has some other ambitions like perhaps the Presidency ?
Republicans either have to take the party back to a respectable level or make a new one.
If that is the case, expect this to get pretty ugly pretty quick, and it will show who he is actually beholdant to as he finishes his term.

But he is a example of commanding respect by 'acting respectable' even if I don't agree with him on policy.

The Truth Hurts 10-10-2017 10:13 AM

he?s not running because he?s under investigation by the fbi and sec...
but nobody seems to care much because hey... he bashed trump so he?s a cool guy now.

As I said, there are no good republicans. I judge by actions not their words..

He got in a twitter fight with Trump, and that is his only accomplishment. He tests so poorly that he'll lose his primary in his own state. But now, that is considered "acting presidential" and "commanding respect"?

I guess in light of that standard a CIA kiss-ass like that pasty prick McMullen is a giant of a man.

Life Pro Tip for never Trumpers: either support the democrats, who may win, or pick a candidate with some actual accomplishments other than just "is not Trump".
