Trump Has Killed More Civilians with Illegal Drone Strikes in 9 Months Than Obama Did in 8 Years

Is this a good thing? Or is this another case of the US waving its dick around the world?

What's amazing about our politics is that when a Democratic president is in office and does "X" (such as increasing drone strikes) the Republicans complain left and right and talk about how un-American this is. Now that a Republican president is doing it, suddenly those Republicans are silent.

A political action is either right or wrong; This does not change depending on which political party is doing it. If it was unacceptable during a Democratic president, it should be unacceptable when a Republican president does it.

What is amazing about you is that you think this double standard (of how republicans treat republican and democrat president) is applied only to republicans.

When Obama did this, I supported it - here on GFY. This makes sense. The more we use drones, the less chance we have of American boots on the ground getting killed. You might have heard.... I don't like Trump, but my stance on this remains the same. I am fine with drones being used in the place of boots on the ground.

I am sure Democrats do it all the time too. This isn't a double standard that applies to only one political party - They all do it.

Your post sounded as if this behavior was specific to republicans. That was what I was calling you our for. Thanks for clarifying that democrats are the same.

It's not specific to Republicans at all. Democrats do it too. If I recall correctly, Obama was accused of flip flopping too. Politicians are all basically the same - they say what they need to say to stay in office. What the truth is or what the publican wants or needs is secondary to staying in office.
