Trump Supporter Brought Dog To Vet To Be Euthanized Found Alive 5 Months Later

HOWELL TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) ? A dog brought into a veterinary hospital to be put down in May was found out to be alive five months later.

Howell Township police say Keri Levi brought her 15-year-old Miniature Pinscher named Caesar to Briarwood Veterinary Hospital on May 17 to be euthanized due to its declining health.

However, according to police, Dr. George Menez, the previous veterinarian at Briarwood, allowed an employee assisting in the procedure to take the dog home out of compassion.

Police say the dog seemed to be in good spirits when it was brought back in and there were no signs of neglect.

Levi made arrangements to have the dog immediately returned. Police were present for the exchange and Caesar was euthanized shortly after.

That sounds like a punchline. This story could in The Onion.

I know a Trump supporter who no longer wanted his dog so the prick took him out in the middle of nowhere and let him out of the car and took off. He admitted it to me one night when he was drunk as shit. Then for years he told everyone his dog had cancer so he had to put him down.

So was the vet charged with theft? Fraud? They took money for the service, and stole the dog.

I wanted to be a vet, and this sort of thing turned me off to it. I remember when I worked in a veterinary hospital, a couple brought their cat in to be euthanized, and there was nothing at all wrong with it. Then I found out that they were moving across country. I asked the vet if we could find a home for it instead, and he said no - if they brought it in to be put down, the vet was obligated to do that as opposed to what was in the best interest of the animal.

Becoming a vet is quite hard. The standards are quite high in Canada anyway

Was the dog in pain and suffering?
or did the owner just not want to deal with the expenses and attention that come with old age?

When ever i had to put a dog down it's because they were old, in pain and suffering and there was nothing that could be done. Plus I made sure to be there with them when they were put to sleep and didn't just drop them off and leave

I had the grades, but dealing with the pet-owners would have been the hurdle.

I remember another scenario that was the exact opposite. People brought in their dog and the record indicated they had NEVER accepted the heart-worm preventatives. Well, their dog had the worst case of heart worms I had ever seen. The dog was suffering and the humane thing would have been to euthanize it, but when presented with that suggestion the owners wanted us to do "everything possible" to save their dog. As a result, the dog suffered a prolonged and needlessly painful death, which we were witness to. Fucking assholes.

Why is that you blame others for the Trump threads?

I don't read the garbage he posts, but I would think at least there's some truth to it. I would honestly think as him being a devoted anti trumpster he would take the time and find actual Trump supporters screwing up things. Apparently he doesn't live as he preach, another complete untrustworthy moron.

Rattling the trumpanzee cages again? They fall for it every time.
I don't think that "Trump supporter" this or that even gets the page views anymore.

According to the article the owner killed a healthy dog in good spirits, only a Trump supporter would do they kill for fun & convenience.
