I don't think Trump asked for Manafort to be his campaign manager and it may be possible Trump was totally in the dark about what a shady character his new campaign manager was. This is a guy who came on as campaign manager while he was in great debt to very dangerous people and has ties to the Russian mafia.

But let's say Manafort wasn't installed by the Kremlin to at the very least, change the Republican platform to be less supportive of Ukraine -- and hopefully in the best scenario have an orange headed US puppet President and all sanctions lifted. So if Trump's campaign (and Trump himself) was so rudderless they allowed a hostile foreign government to crowbar a Russian agent into their campaign, how can this crew be allowed to be where they are right now?

Whether they were complicit or just blind and stupid, they should all be thrown in prison or worse. How can this bunch of jerkoffs be in charge of everything for the next few years? Something unbelievably bad will happen and it's going to make 9/11 look like kids playing with firecrackers.

You're not getting it. Manafort was in Ukraine to mold a pro-Russia candidate/party for US consumption. So it's safe to assume he was there on behalf of both the US and Russian governments.. More or less the the Obama Admin and Russia were going to attempt a soft coup/pro-Russia regime change in Ukraine.

Manafort was in Ukraine to install a pro Russian candidate for PUTIN and when citizens protested he fled back to Russian to escape Ukraine corruption charges.

The Ukraine is already pro west because Putin is invading them and taking their resources there's no need for a pro Western Ukraine president.

First of all....Podesta is not the campaign manager of a winning presidential candidate. That's the difference you asshole. Trump won so even if any of that stuff you read on your conserva-rags is true, Hilary Clinton is not the president of the United States.
