Angry neighbours called police after they were woken up by the noise coming from Oliver Haberstroh's flat. ut the flat was empty as the 29-year-old was out with friends. He says the music turned on even though he didn't give any instructions to the voice-activated virtual assistant. Oliver had suspected the smart gadget had acted on its own, but Amazon later found that it was remotely activated by a music streaming app on his smartphone. At least once a week I hear mine randomly playing in the other room. Heard me or someone on the street incorrectly. It's amusing but also a little annoying.
Would be nice if you could "lock" the Echo to your own voice, like Siri, as an additional feature. |
