Paxum the Next ePassporte?

Over the years I have had a love hate relationship with Paxum. In some respects it is far better than Payoneer/FirstChoicePay because they don't charge the huge fees. But their customer service sucks. If you get a refund for something they freeze your Mastercard until you provide them a reason for the refund and proof of it which is also ridiculous. You can never reach someone by phone and support tickets take days for a reply.

Now I'm told that Paxum is no longer issuing Mastercards to US citizens which tells me the end if very near. Last month I had 5 days where I had no access to my money, which was a large amount. It took 4 days for a reply to my ticket and that answer was "We'll look into it and let you know" Never got a reason.

So I'd like someone from Paxum to explain their plans and why anyone should continue to do business with them. I think that is more than fair considering they are asking us to continue to trust them with our money.

Ya i found out last month about how US citizens no more Mastercards :( I hope they pull through.
I doubt Paxum is anyway comparable to Epass though, remember who ran that company? he is scam all the way through

All of these Money Transfer Agent businesses are just that -- transfer agents AND NOT BANKS. All monies are uninsured.

Use them for what they are intended for and maintain low account balances -- pay the fees -- move the money to safer domicile (even if that means under your bed in a cigar box).

ahh, your youtube cooking channel is over and you are back to the adult biz? :pimp

mariahxxx 11-13-2017 07:55 AM

No I still do very well with my youtube channel. I am in the Warner Bros youtube network I have been filming travel vids the last few months and in the process of editing the final 3 episodes.

I still get payouts for affiliate sales and for my pornhub channel. haven't been involved in any other aspect of adult since 2012.

ruth? any comment from paxum lady?

danep 11-13-2017 09:01 AM

Mariahxxx, I'm not recommending my service, however I do offer a small insight. A refund can raise issues if the transaction was not made originally with the card that gets refunded, it needs a mirror charge. I hope it's relevant and helping.

if you make a purchase with your paxum mastercard and it gets refunded like an airline ticket or something you return in a store, they put a lock on your mastercard and it takes days to get it unlocked

:2 cents: ...

danep 11-13-2017 12:52 PM

I believe we are discussing a pre-authorization/pending transaction, and not a blocking of a card. These are two very different terms and actions. Just my two cents about it. Even if we are discussing a competitor, one has to be a gentleman.

Adraco 11-13-2017 01:13 PM

There will not be any official comments here from Paxum.

They always dodge those threads or Ruth and/or Chris will show up and say ?send me message privately?.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We have temporarily suspended new card creation for US Paxum clients. Due to some changes we are making to the Paxum.com service (introduction of new services such as 3rd party payments, and dedicated EUR IBAN accounts) we are awaiting a green light from our legal team before we re-instate card renewals for US clients. For the record, Paxum is not having any issues with US authorities, and this measure has been pro-actively taken to ensure that remains the case. We will allow card renewals again for US clients as soon as we receive the okay from our legal team.

We appreciate your patience while we settle this matter, and in the meantime US clients can withdraw their Paxum account funds by Wire withdrawal or through EFT withdrawal.

Thanks,
Ruth :)

We also offer ACH(EFT) withdrawal for US clients. The fee is $5 USD, and the per transaction limit is $3,000 USD.

Yes, it can be refunded. Please open a ticket in the Message Center of your Paxum account to ask for your card fee to be refunded. Alternatively feel free to email me your account username (the email you use to log-in) and I will arrange it for you.

Thanks,
Ruth :)

Paxum have shown to be extra careful about many things... Epassorte was completely careless. I doubt that something will happen to Paxum just because of that...

Judging by the replies from Paxum in a non-paxum message board (GFY) I'd say their support is pretty spot on :thumbsup

Anytime you see ACH available, you must use this over wires, save money :thumbsup

adultchatpay 11-14-2017 02:23 AM

Paxum used to be great, i hope they bounce back with all the issues.

PornoStar69 11-14-2017 03:11 AM

I love Payoneer & Neteller.

mariahxxx 11-14-2017 03:12 AM

Ruth, I think that before you fix or change anything you should focus on your customer service. I wasn't able to access my money for 5 days and when i called I couldn't speak to anyone and it took 4 days to get a reply. That is unacceptable. When you guys lock an account you don't notify the card holder. They have to find out when they try to buy something which has happened to me more than once.
Customer service is vital when you are holding someone's money. I think that is your only problem and its a huge one.

We've been using Paxum for years with no issues. But yeah due to losing money in the whole ePassporte fiasco we tend to not leave our balance any higher than it needs to be.

Caldo 11-15-2017 12:22 AM

hope they will fix everything !
