10400+ when I last looked. So much for the big seek of I resisted huh, I suck.

This thing should skyrocket in the upcoming days!

If you aren't in, don't get in. Bubble will burst around 12k. Then get in at bottom and ride next bubble.

Bitcoin and others are about speculative investing. Yes, you can buy and hold. But unlike IPO investing, you won't get dividends.

So you need to invest like a junk bond trader. Buy low, sell high.

Everyone will now buy bitcoin,. it is going mainstream sort of.
But any investment that grew so much in a short period of time will eventually burst.
When? I don't know.
As of now, ride with the craze and make money while it last.

If history is going to repeat, even a crash (with an unrealised loss) would not be catastrophic, because the value would eventually recover and then continue to climb even higher. It's happened about 4 or 5 times now.

Two things to consider:

1. This particular ride up is more significant than previous crash-recover-climb cycles, and because of the explosion in value everyone's hearing about Bitcoin this, Bitcoin that. With more speculators the after-effects of the next crash could be quite different.

2. Past performance is not an indication of future performance.

With the value climbing so rapidly you could buy today, then sell off a little periodically to reduce your risk of losing all your capital. At this rate you could probably recover your initial investment within a month or two, then sit and do nothing as you watch the unrealised profits of the remaining balance grow. But there's still a risk of catastrophic loss until you reach that safety point.

There was a correction of some sort a few hours ago (went down from 10700+ to 10000+) I had a stop sell set at 10120 just in case it gets even deeper.

It's absolutely not too late to get in. Don't forget that you don't need to buy a whole coin. You can buy just a couple of hundred dollars and do well.

For me I already own some BTC and BCH. I sold what I had in LTC (Litecoin) but it was a mistake because it's jumped from about $60 when I sold it, to $137 as I write this. I think I'll jump back in.

It may be "late" to get in BUT maybe it's not. Who knows. Let's check this time next year. The math will be easy! Got in at 10K and now BTC is worth......cha-ching?
