Watch this amazing video about the new tax reform bill.

What do you think ?

Any company in any country can deduct moving/outsourcing expenses.
No person in no country can deduct his moving expenses.

But yeah, this is scandalous!

if corporations are people as outlined by the constitution and the supreme court that means people are corporations. So if both party's are the same legal definition one of the 2 are getting screwed. One is being over taxed or one is being under taxed.:2 cents:

Once again they seem to be voting on a bill where they have no idea what they are voting on. It's insane how they make laws in Congress.

bronco67 11-30-2017 11:01 AM

This bill is the ultimate Republican ass fuck they've always been wanting to give to "the little people". Enjoy it.

If there's any silver lining, it's the possibility the Republicans will help impeach Trump after they get this tax cut, which is all they wanted from his presidency.

Can you think of any reason why the US should continue to have the highest corporate tax rate in the world?

It doesn't need to be as high as it is. But if it's officially 35 then that means they pay 15. So when it's 20 they'll pay...less than 10? Is that ok with you? Let's just make it zero if that will make you happy.

Anyway, the bill isn't just about that. There's a ton of stuff in there to fuck us all over for a long time. It's not just about corporations. While we're on that subject, why does big business need such a break? They're doing great.

You're a fucking moron.

I love how Marco Rubio is now saying structural changes (meaning cuts and retirement age increases) will be need to be made to Social Security and Medicare to address the deficit due to the tax cuts. Heaven forbid they maybe don’t cut corporate taxes quit so much, after all what is wrong with raising the Social Security retirement age to 68 or more (it’s currently 67).

beerptrol 11-30-2017 03:05 PM

Their corporate masters have threatened to cut off funds if they don't pass some kind of tax cuts for them. They expect a return on the money they give these guys. So much for chump being for the working man, but the cultist can't see past chump's nut sack

as for high tax rate. That's only on paper. with loop holes they pay nothing near that, but keep believing the bullshit. Don't forget those loop holes will still be in place.

Not true, i deducted $12,000. Moving expenses when i went from California to Maine it was accepted and i received a refund check.

Meanwhile in the OP's native Canuckistan:

Bill Morneau?s father sold 200K shares in family company days before tax changes announced

Bill Morneau, for those that don't know, is a Liberal MP and Finance Minister of the federal government.

But the OP has too much Trump on the brain to notice all the corruption and bad governance going on in his own country.

It does not have the highest corporate tax rate. Just another one of the Donald's lies.

An individual could, under qualifying circumstances, deduct his moving expense but if this bill is passed that will no longer be the case. Educate yourself.

Yes, and it was a dick move.

Not at all.

The difference my friend, is that the bill in the US looks like it's going to fuck millions and millions of people over. The bill was written in haste, has not been put up for debate, etc. If you are interested in paying only your fair share in taxes and not more, wouldn't you like to at least look into it a little more before its too late?

There are millions and millions of people getting fucked over right here at home - in Ontario especially. Companies are leaving Ontario in droves with many to most heading for the US. And with a 32% increase in labour costs only a month away, many more are bound to leave.

Go ahead and hate on Trump all you want. The US will survive Trump. But Canada isn't going to survive it's current leadership.

And admit it - if a Conservative Finance Minister did what Morneau did and a Conservative PM backed him like Trudeau did you would be posting all kinds of shit about it. But because it's your golden boy and his Liberals you can barely muster a shoulder shrug.
