He came. He saw. He stole an ungodly amount of beef jerky.

Oklahoma City police are searching for a man who allegedly purloined over $400 in beef jerky from a convenience store earlier this month.

"You read that correctly ... beef jerky," the police department said in a statement on its Facebook page Thursday. "Investigators hope that with surveillance photos this good, it won't take long to identify this meat bandit."

I saw beef jerky few times in store, but is that eatable? I mean, idea of conserved meat does not sound quite exciting.

Jerky is how they preserved meat even in the cowboy days. Hell, likely goes back to medieval times.

it shows you how much bullshit is in the media. all that stuff is required to be insured it is not an option to not. it is in place so employees dont get them selves killed. well lower the chance of being killed. in this case it may be for drugs. there is something the police are not telling. remember this story he may be a real problem.
