Let?s hope some deranged homeless person doesn?t get jealous and pull a Bobbitt on Mr Bobbitt


PHILADELPHIA ? A homeless man who used his last $20 to fill up the gas tank of a stranded motorist in Philadelphia has bought a home with some of the nearly $400,000 raised for him by the woman he saved.

Johnny Bobbitt Jr. says on his GoFundMe page that he bought a home over the weekend.
Kate McClure, of Florence Township, New Jersey, ran out of gas on an Interstate 95 exit ramp late one night. Bobbitt walked a few blocks to buy her gas.

She didn?t have money to repay the Marine veteran, so she created the online fundraiser page as a thank you. The fundraiser has raised more than $397,000.

Bobbitt says he?s donating some of his money to a grade school student who is helping another homeless veteran.

My first thought. But you can?t blame people for being skeptical due to fraud and abuse.

He bought a house and has enough cash for the future, a shave and haircut, clothing and @ car. Hopefully he can get recertification as a paramedic. He?ll donate carefully, hopefully find a financial planner, and keep giving back.

It?s a feel-good story that is just beginning. But the bottom line is he was homeless, depressed, begging so he could eat, yet deep inside he was so kind and thoughtful that he gave $20 ? probably a days? meals plus ? to simply help a stranger.

I understand people being skeptical, it is the internet after all. However, there were people on here being all kinds nasty about this. Nico-t and Google Expert, who I understand are nothing more than trolls, where especially angry about this. I'm just curious how they feel now, although I can probably guess.

That is quite little considering story spreaded worldwide. Also, there was once social experiment on youtube where they were testing honesty of homeless by dropping wallet deliberately, and only one returned it, so they rewarded him with 1000$.

Every homeless guy carries around a 5 gallon jerry can.
