Fires in SoCal
The fires in SoCal out of control again - this time in December, which is unheard of.
This picture seems to be of the 405 just outside of Brentwood. (Correct me if I am wrong here.) https://scontent-sjc2-1.xx.fbcdn.net...0f&oe=5A97CD92 |
I lived in San Diego for 16 years and never saw so many huge fires.
The world is changing fast? |
Yeah close to burning up the legendary Getty Center.
Our resident Putin troll Nico-T / Wehateporn / Onwebcam will chime in about how California burning is a good thing, as he freezes to death in his small flat in Russia :1orglaugh |

This is how the world ends right here. One day we'll wake up and the entire country will be on fire.

These fires are scary. There hasn't been any rain in SoCal for 3 months and with the strong Santa Ana winds, the fires are raging out of control.
The Thomas fire burned down 65k acres / 100 sq. miles around Ventura with 0% containment and 50k+ people evacuated. The Skirball fire in Bel-Air shut down the 405 freeway, one of the busiest freeways in LA. That fire is right across the 405 from the Getty Center, which is the home of many pieces of priceless artworks. |
I live in LA and the air is pretty bad right now, the 405 getting closed down is insane , it's probably the busiest freeway in the world, it is the busiest in the US. I only take that route on my bike because I can split lanes
