Suddenly its not ok to have guns in Texas? Where is the NRA to defend this guy?

He was drunk which can be a crime depending on the type of guns he had, even in Texas.

I've always been surprised that we haven't had "bigger" mass shooting events. The right person with the right weapon at the right place at the right time can easily kill hundreds - just like what happened in Vegas. These people have the firepower and all they need is an elevated position that is somewhat protected (like a hotel room) and a large crowd of people and it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Kids were brought up playing Call Of Duty and other such games so they know this. We will be seeing a lot more like this.

The constitution doesnt say drunk guys cant own guns.. hell according to the NRA crazy people have the right to carry...

Besides that, he clearly had a room at the hotel so how they stuck him with a trespass charge seems very "trumped up" or a bullshit charge in other words..

He may of been an ass and he may of been a drunk but he wasnt carrying the guns while he was drunk and being an ass. He was charged with the guns that were in his room not on his person...

The article was updated after I posted it. It originally said he was charged with trespassing as well as the weapons charge.
