How much would this website cost ?!
Hey folks,
I've got this porn website that is making a stable $6k/month. Top tier countries, 80% search traffic, 20% direct. Zero work needed to maintain the traffic, it's increasing day by day. It's fairly new (5 months old), so the revenue goes like this : 1st month - $0 2nd month - $800 3rd month - $3500 4th month - $4500 5th month - $6300 It's all on autopilot and is making $200 / day through ads only. Speaking that this is a specific niche, CPA & Aff offers would make at least 3x the current profit. I'm not selling it yet, it's my first porn website that is making a decent cash. What would be the market price for it? I was thinking a year's profit for the selling price, since it's 100% automated and no work needed. $70K - is it high or low? |
What is the niche?
thanks |
not willing to reveal that, just saying that it's a sub-niche in pron.
|
it isnt in business long enough
if its 2 years old and getting 6.3k a month, 70k would be a nice estimate. with only 5 months, i wouldnt pay more than 12-15k for it (and even that is pushing it) atleast with the data i have now. could be you did full on blackhat seo, and a ton of other factors i can not judge now |
seo is 100% whitehat. profit has increased almost 100% each month (sometimes more) and you say the price is month's profit x 2? that's ridiculous. if this website had been making that for two years, I would get more than 100K for it bruh

a month ago you were asking quite basic questions here - https://gfy.com/mainstream-business-d...ebmasters.html
and now you have $200/day site on autopilot? |

to respond to a few points 1. no seo in adult is 100% whitehat. A 5 month old site getting that much usefull traffic is a big red flag. Google places most sites in a 6 month sandbox, it is possible to grow quickly before that, but usually this means a lot of linkbuilding was done (quickly) This often results in a short spike and then a big big drop. 2. in adult its 12-18* average monthly for a site. so if you make that 6.3k for a year, you are looking at around 70k 3. reading the post above me, i tend to believe this is a bs topic (but i responded as if it was not) |
@bns666
this is the JV, I don't fully own the website obviously, just wanted your thoughts @TBFS your input is appreciated, what more can you tell me about a 6 month sandbox? surely Google wouldn't put any website in sandbox, at least not the ones that have white hat SEO done to them, or is it a common thing for adult rankings? btw, I'm always doing research in this particular niche and it's not unusual to stumble upon 6 months old websites that are getting 100-200k daily search traffic, that's why I take your information surprisingly. |

@emmasexytime
considering your nickname and the way you spam the shit of every thread to advertise your offers you got no right to use sarcasm in other people's threads : ) |

in general when a new site is created (so new domain/ or a domain not used for a long time) it will take about 6 months before google will 'rank' it I'm not native in english, so not 100% sure how to explain it properly. but to simplify it (a lot) lets say to rank page 1for keyword x. 100 backlinks are needed if a site is 1 month old, and has those 100 backlinks its is unlikely to rank above page 5 if a site is 4 months old and has those 100 backlinks its unlikely to rank above page 3. and after 6 months it has a chance to rank on page 1 reason is google doesn't give full 'credit' to sites that are younger than +-6 months (this is a really really really simplified explanation, excluding a ton of factors) But its the best method i could explain that part. This does not mean a site that is 5 months old can not rank. 1. it could have gone viral because it is awesome, and it will rank 2.and old domain was redirected (in a proper way) 3. a ton of backlinks were acquired giving the impression of option 1 (black/grayhat seo) option 1, doesnt really happy in porn option 2, would just mean a site was moved to this domain, so its not really a new site (this would be fine) option 3. this means google will most likely drop the site in the rankings (could be after 1 month, could be after 5) its a lot more complex than i just typed, but in general a site younger than 6 months will not get much google love. if it does get some google love without obvious reasons its likely the love is misplaced and will be removed edit: option 4. it is also possible there is 0 competition in your field, then you can also rank before 6 months. but with the money you are generating from it, i find it unlikely others are not trying to rank in your niche |

Post count plays a role in judgement. Now if you tried to sell the site your talking about on here, then it becomes less believable unless proof is shown. But if you're just looking for an estimate, than most have no reason to not believe you. :thumbsup |

@TBFS,
I get your point and it is only valid if your competition is above average, my niche is low to mid-level competition, is not saturated (only 3 big players or so) and is not that hard to rank. About 6 months "sandbox", this is not totally accurate as well. I've got one two weeks old website that ranks on page 1 and 2 for a dozen of mid level competition keywords. If SEO is done properly, even new websites can rank. This porn website of mine has not gone viral, JV partners paid good money to get authority backlinks from the top dogs, so, it's pretty much whitehat. @dillfly2000, not sure why you're being sarcastic, why would I want to troll someone, I just wanted to ask opinion of those people who are more experienced than I am in selling websites in this niche. I do not care whether you believe me or not, if you're not gonna bother, stop posting shit that's no use to any of us. @celandina, would you say pornhub and xvideos have stolen content? the stuff these guys have are all over the place, same deal with this website. I wouldn't really call this pirating, if you post your video on a porn site and someone re-uploads this and you complain, well, you must be a newbie then. |
OK you are not a pirate so, my apology for suspecting you....:2 cents: My other presumption was a recycled content. That is fine, but not worth much and BTW, you cannot compete with the "gorillas". So good luck, but do not expect miracles with it, since the content you are schlepping is likely re posted 1000x all over the place. So why would anybody go to you ONCE the novelty has worn off...:2 cents::2 cents:
So of you sustain the 6 K per month for a year or so, and " no work is still needed" then you should be able to get 10x of your net. Your take minus taxes, processor fees, bandwidth and hosting and some " hourly" min wage to the "mook" doing the NO work part. |
A lot of stuff about this post doesn't add up.
$800 is a huge first month for any site. Every site I've ever worked with has seen minimal google traffic for at least 2-3 months before taking off. $200 in ad revenue per day is a HUGE amount of traffic for a "sub-niche". WTF is your competition doing? How is a sub-niche generating that kind of traffic? You're either completely dominating, or it's a hugely popular "sub-niche". At any rate, if your site were older and had sustained its revenue for a long time, it would be worth 12-18 months net profit. As it is, it's new and grew suspiciously fast, so it's a risky investment. I'd pay 3-4 months net profit, no more. |

If I had such a site, I won't sell it for any reason. Auto-pilot, my dream! I spend 3h to build 20 unique pages a day :( |

a 6month old site, you cannot tell what happens next, so half of itīs value is demolished, in a year, yes this continued performance, a site could be worth 70k, now, 20k Quote:

I don't see the problem is disclosing what your site is, unless you considered that we can check on your traffic to double check if what you saying is true or not. Yes I believe niche porn will be the new thing forward, but it takes a lot of hard work and research, if you into the niche, it can be enjoyable, but also very much a headache.
If you are making over $6K a month, then congratulations, but what are you overheads, in terms of hosting, content production, props and kit and other expenses because the majority of niche site produce their own content, because they are the only one shooting that content and you have told us what you site is turning over, but you not disclosing what it cost to produce it, $6K a month is great, but you maybe spending $7K a month to run the site. I am just saying :/ I hope you have found something new, that no one has tapped into and you are doing well, these things can and do happen. Best off luck! |
