Most of the richest/hard working regions in the world are in zones with common winter snow. Good move out of the heat :thumbsup

I grew up in NJ. We lived on the top of a mountain and the snow would blow across the yard and up on our house. Once or twice a year the snow would build up so much that we couldn't get out of our house. We would open up the front door and it was a wall of snow.

When I was in the Marines in NC.... They would get flurries and it would shut down the entire base. It was comical. Here we are, United States Marines, driving huge four wheel drive HUMVVEES, and heaven forbid should we drive in a quarter of an inch of snow.

Not sure if true, but I hear anecdotes how everything traffic related in Uk stop once they get even ridiculously low amount of snow. To the point of sometimes even schools not working, lol.
