GFY, help me fund my mainstream game project!
 

Heya,

After years of making adult sites and contributing to GFY community I decided to broaden my knowledge and start something I always wanted. My own paid site. So I went with games and microtransactions..

Most of the stuff is ready. At least $2k still missing.

I am planning a crowdfund too, there are crowdfund sites that can track contributions, enabling commissions to those who send traffic.

Also suggest seeding your project with friends and family money first to build momentum.

I wasn't able to finish the crowdfunding project, so I have to finance it by myself.

Anyway here is my observation:
1) Facebook ads didn't work
2) Traffic on Indiegogo searching new projects itself is minimal
3) Sponsored posts on niche magazines kinda works
4) Instagram works well

It doesn't basically matter how good it looks (video, pictures) if people don't understand the point of your product.

Don't use feed services like "we sent 100k emails to your campaign". You will get such email eventually after you publish your campaign. It's from indian scammers.
