Why did you choose the Brassmonkey name when others are so offended by this?

Of course, such a reference to the Sandy Hook massacre would be inappropriate and upsetting to any normal person.

I understand why some blacks are offended by H&M's photo. But why would you consciously choose to identify yourself as "monkey" while other blacks consider being called "monkey" a slur?
