When it comes to putting in a lot of hours, there's a tipping point where it becomes useless if your income generation isn't scalable without adding double the sweat. Trading time for money sucks.

money is motivation for work whatever anyone says.

you can't judge a person 100% by what they work and how much money they make, but it is a significant factor.

you always needs to give your 100% , with good money or not, if you don't do that.. you'll never be well payed

Yes, that is actually like some sort of rule - if it's worthy , there is no force which can stop me. But lately, not much things are worthy.

the comfort zone makes most people lazy...I know this because camgilrs...now they may not be the best example but the moment they start making any serious money is the moment they get lazy...sad but true...

I think there should be a balance between hard work and personal life. Hard work sometimes must be out in before you get the financial satisfaction, but if that doesn't appear for a long time, I can't say I'd keep my motivation.

I just wish i could work on something that i can see an effect at the moment im getting by crossing my finders.

I got an email with a YNOT Mail customer who had a problem at 10pm last night and I dropped everything to help them out... I'm not exactly digging ditches in twenty degree weather but I surely put the effort in.

In work the same regardless of pay. I can choose not to take the job, once I take a job I want to feel good about what I'm doing and enjoy the possess. going in with a negative attitude like 'I wants mo moneys' doesn't seem like much fun :(

the other day I was 1/2 to the xbiz 'event, 40 miles from my place, I got an email about some content issues. I turned around went back and fixed the issue and uploaded the content. continued to xbiz. just another day in the fast lane Rochard, nothing notable to denote my work ethics. :2 cents:

I had a great chat with JFK and Groobys production manager... saw a good seminar on traffic... smoked a lot of weed and saw some people I had not seen for a few years. a very pleasant experience over all :)

I work a full time job in a factory, I do decent there. The online stuff I do for 1-3 hrs a day, but other days I do 6. I make it a point to do the fun online job before I go into the work day at the factory. Factory is mindless so I shouldn't waste my good hours on that but rather my business, which is done first thing in the morning.

Back to the original question. I have worked hard for more money but when you figure out how to scale or reduce the number of man hours, I just focus on consistency.

You might have a great work ethic but it's the quality of your work that keeps you stuck where you are no matter how hard you work you've reached your plateau right?

A combination of things such as energy levels, how much you enjoy what you do, how much money you need, how much money you want etc

If we talk same hours, but harder, had been studies that salary raise makes people motivated for couple months, then it is back to "the same".

Anyone here think that doing a great job (better than anyone else?) is a reward in of itself?
