Would you work harder if you got paid more?

Or do you just believe in putting in your best regardless of much or how little you make?

Do you think your work reflects your character and value as a human being?

When it comes to putting in a lot of hours, there's a tipping point where it becomes useless if your income generation isn't scalable without adding double the sweat. Trading time for money sucks.

bns666 01-25-2018 05:17 AM

money is motivation for work whatever anyone says.

you can't judge a person 100% by what they work and how much money they make, but it is a significant factor.

yuu.design 01-25-2018 05:33 AM

you always needs to give your 100% , with good money or not, if you don't do that.. you'll never be well payed

Klen 01-25-2018 05:34 AM

Yes, that is actually like some sort of rule - if it's worthy , there is no force which can stop me. But lately, not much things are worthy.

pimpmaster9000 01-25-2018 06:25 AM

the comfort zone makes most people lazy...I know this because camgilrs...now they may not be the best example but the moment they start making any serious money is the moment they get lazy...sad but true...

blackmonsters 01-25-2018 06:36 AM

Seven...

CaptainHowdy 01-25-2018 06:41 AM

It is always preferable to work less ...

wehateporn 01-25-2018 06:44 AM

If you work too hard you'll harm your health and reduce your lifespan

Rubyconne 01-25-2018 06:47 AM

I think there should be a balance between hard work and personal life. Hard work sometimes must be out in before you get the financial satisfaction, but if that doesn't appear for a long time, I can't say I'd keep my motivation.

seeandsee 01-25-2018 06:50 AM

I guess so, just hold me 8 hour rate

CurrentlySober 01-25-2018 06:55 AM

I got an email with a YNOT Mail customer who had a problem at 10pm last night and I dropped everything to help them out... I'm not exactly digging ditches in twenty degree weather but I surely put the effort in.

Spunky 01-25-2018 08:12 AM

Doesn't really matter as I always give er whatever I do.Always had a good work ethic.either you have it or you don't

In work the same regardless of pay. I can choose not to take the job, once I take a job I want to feel good about what I'm doing and enjoy the possess. going in with a negative attitude like 'I wants mo moneys' doesn't seem like much fun :(

the other day I was 1/2 to the xbiz 'event, 40 miles from my place, I got an email about some content issues. I turned around went back and fixed the issue and uploaded the content. continued to xbiz. just another day in the fast lane Rochard, nothing notable to denote my work ethics. :2 cents:

I had a great chat with JFK and Groobys production manager... saw a good seminar on traffic... smoked a lot of weed and saw some people I had not seen for a few years. a very pleasant experience over all :)

Does anyone upload videos of the seminar?

incredibleworkethic 01-25-2018 08:43 AM

I work a full time job in a factory, I do decent there. The online stuff I do for 1-3 hrs a day, but other days I do 6. I make it a point to do the fun online job before I go into the work day at the factory. Factory is mindless so I shouldn't waste my good hours on that but rather my business, which is done first thing in the morning.

Back to the original question. I have worked hard for more money but when you figure out how to scale or reduce the number of man hours, I just focus on consistency.

You might have a great work ethic but it's the quality of your work that keeps you stuck where you are no matter how hard you work you've reached your plateau right?

Paul Markham 01-25-2018 02:02 PM

If you work harder you earn more.

I work hard anyway, alas, if I was paid more, I could probably do more for my business :2 cents:

Do you think how hard you work reflects your values?

A combination of things such as energy levels, how much you enjoy what you do, how much money you need, how much money you want etc

mineistaken 01-27-2018 04:19 PM

If we talk same hours, but harder, had been studies that salary raise makes people motivated for couple months, then it is back to "the same".

mce 01-28-2018 01:36 PM

Anyone here think that doing a great job (better than anyone else?) is a reward in of itself?
