SPAM me with HOSTING for site networks

The project: create 100 different versions of the same online store

MAINSTREAM

Need: different server IP addresses but same FTP for all sites

Can anyone recommend a LOW COST host that will enable me to do this?

I'll probably install WORDPRESS for each of these store sites

Keeping all of them under the same user and using WordPress is extremely risky. I would advise you to find a different way to do what you want. If you are not on the ball with updating those WordPress installs nonstop, one exploit could pollute your whole network.

go with MOJOHOST

Will different FTP for each work?

Here is what we would do, and what we do with anyone that even mentions WordPress:
Domain gets its own "user". Unique FTP goes with each user.
In your case, attach unique IP to the domain/user.
Install WordPress using Softaculous (automatic updating of core files etc.)
Add SSL certificate.
You're set.

Of course all of that goes on our daily backup system as well, and since it's a fresh install (not an already exploited install) we can "go back" in time when needed to grab proper working versions, if an exploit should happen.

Almost anyone with WordPress that we migrate in is littered with exploits. We clean all migrations with the above checklist in mind, along with a few other steps that we follow to ensure that exploits are not migrated to a fresh machine.

What is your definition of low cost?

Your number of IPs is going to cut into the chances of you finding something truly "low-cost."

Your cheapest option is going to be OVH, but you'll need to manage it yourself or hire a service that can manage it for you. If your new business is important to you, an unmanaged server with no skilled techs assisting could absolutely destroy you.

There are a few guys on GFY that you may be able to hire for assistance.

Just 100 ip's might cost from 100 to 400 dollars monthly, so you need to ask yourself do you really need that.

Go with Vacares.

How many ips do you need ? How much traffic will the sites get ? How much space will you need ? Can?t really give you a idea on a server without knowing those things :2 cents:

100 will be hard to do. to be clear you need a A class and C class ips but with country? if you get a 100 ips from same class this is noting, waste of time. search for some cheap seo hosting but firs target a country with you go. usa, canada, uk. so, what if you go for 100 ips from Brasil or a Hungary?

try something like this : https://skynethosting.net/seo-hosting.htm
ignore one ftp account, you have a plenty of tools where you can manage a wordpress. I use main wp. so I never login to ftp. :)

OooooooOoOoOooo

A cheap host

MojoHost is "expensive"

When's the last time you looked at my shopping cart?

What exactly do you want to pay? Do you want a VPS or dedicated? Do you want all of your IPs continuous or varied across multiple C classes? Do you want it fully managed? Backups? A control panel?

All of this is possible and isn't necessarily expensive. If you think you're going to get all of this for $50 from anywhere, then you simply won't be able to find what you are looking for. If you can spend $99-$249 monthly then there are several possible variations available to you.

There is no better price per performance than Web Host Pro. Trust me.

Openvsrvrs are the best for the least money.

Is $100 per month for a managed fairly LOW TRAFFIC server with realtime backups UNREALISTIC? I need multiple IPS since I'm going to be building a huge MAINSTREAM network.

Brad Mitchell 02-04-2018 12:00 PM

We can do it.

Brad

Thanks, Brad. Anyone else? I'm gathering options.

sandman! 02-05-2018 09:59 AM

For a vps no for a dedicated server yes. Expect to spend $1-2 per month per ip plus a server.

I've used a couple host over the years and none have compared to the service and support I get from Mojo. If you're serious about your business go with Brad and MojoHost. You will not be disappointed and never need another host.

$100 a month for a hundred landing pages on a mixed set of IP's seems pretty good.
