People click on ads? I've been to YouTube maybe two dozen times but have never clicked on an ad. Generally I don't click ads but get the URL and visit by typhoon. Too many remembrances of viruses and browser takeovers reported years ago. Cookies, tracking, cooties, etc make me leery of clicking anything.

I don't get the slime attraction but she made $10k in a month, not millions. Nice chunk of change but she needs a backup occupation. Use the cash to go to school and think of the future.

There are 1,000s of people doing the same or similar online.

Doing channels aimed at kids is where the money is. You should see the amount of views and followers channels have where they just open toys up - its astonishing! And kids are real butterfingers especially on tablets or phones, they'll keep pressing adverts by accident.

Good for her I guess ...

Yah, my fault she makes tens of thousands each year. I?d rather watch porn than slime to be honest. Perhaps if I were younger I?d understand the attraction to slime. I?d rather watch naked hairy guys than women and slime.

That stuff is like porn for kids. My daughter watches those toy videos and when I look at the view numbers I almost can't believe it.

And yes... She clicked on a lot of ads, but now that she's three she's very familiar with the term "skip ad". She says it right before her little finger touches the screen and it's very cute.

We have been selling out of glue for about a year now at the store that I work at.

We have a family here in town who has kids that do reviews of toys on You Tube. They make so much money that they quit their day jobs and built a huge studio here in town to film in.

- Ad revenue is based on views not clicks. People don't need to click on the ads.
- Youtube is heaven for family friendly content, almost all other content is demonetized because of the leftist SJW agenda of being 'offended' about everything. Big companies bowed down to the whining leftist minority in 2017 and stopped advertising on any videos with an opinion or humor in it.
- She talked about going from $50 to $10k. She's making a lot more, like the estimate of the social blade employee (minimum of $80k a month).
- She has 960 million total views which is for a regular channel for adults $1 million. Kids channels get a lot more money so she's made about $4 million.

Moral of the story: If you want to make money on youtube, creat superficial talentless cookie cutter videos aimed at kids. Original content creators have been shut down by the Youtube thought police.

Youtube, another leftist success story :thumbsup
