Steve Rupe 02-05-2018 01:16 PM

The Dow is taking a dump.

It is down now but I predict that before this year is over it will take the biggest dump ever in its history.

RedFred 02-05-2018 01:18 PM

Boy, the tax cuts are sure helping the economy.

Rochard 02-05-2018 01:28 PM

I have a bad feeling it is coming too.

CurrentlySober 02-05-2018 01:34 PM

I took a pretty fucking big dump earlier too

hottoddy 02-05-2018 01:34 PM

It's been so overvalued for so long. The recent rise already baked in the Trump tax changes. Now, the fear is rate hikes because the economy is so hot.

GFED 02-05-2018 01:42 PM

I got stopped out of 32 positions and have a margin call.
I feel sick.

:throwup

pimpmaster9000 02-05-2018 01:42 PM

Lots of MAGA about to happen...

Bladewire 02-05-2018 01:44 PM

Investers are uneasy as the vast corruption in the Trump administration is being unearthed on a daily basis. The writing is on the wall for Trump and investers need stability. Trump is not a stable 71 year old morbidly obese geriatric :2 cents:

He'll blame Hillary Clinton. He'll say that the crooked Democrats and Hillary Clinton have a stranglehold on the economy via the deep state and that they want America to fail so they can bring him down. Or he'll say the crash 8s due to the residual effects of the failed Obama fiscal policy that held down businesses and growth in America for far too long.

Speigelau 02-05-2018 02:14 PM

So what will happen first, Dow to 20k or Bitcoin to 3k ?

Vendzilla 02-05-2018 02:24 PM

My money is safe, it only records the increases, not the negatives. Last year I did great, even if the stock market goes down everything it went up last year, I will still make 5.5% on my money this year.

MaDalton 02-05-2018 02:32 PM

It's probably Obamas fault...

Busty2 02-05-2018 03:27 PM

Dow plunges 1,175 -- worst point decline in history

Thanks Chump !!!!

Let see the idiot take credit for this bigly loss

Bladewire 02-05-2018 03:44 PM

It sucks that when bad shit happens Trump keeps quiet. No tweets from Trump about this to calm nervous investers. Trump is not a leader he's an opportunist :disgust

SuckOnThis 02-05-2018 05:13 PM

I expect Drumpf to take 100% of the credit for this free fall. He takes credit for everything else.

Problem is that is was inflated with quanitive easing under Obama, its still way above what it was when Trump took office, as the numbers increase, there has to be a little reset from time to time.

We are talking about the stock market.

In 2009 it bottomed out at 6626. When Trump took over it was 20,093. Under Obama the stock market more than doubled. The stock market went up from 2009 until last week - not because of Trump, because of Obama.

You are welcome.

DraX 02-05-2018 06:27 PM

Was just a matter of time, I been waiting for this believe it or not. It spread to european stockmarkets too. Now negative signs of the 0 % politics starting to take effect, salaries record high, inflation moving in.

If this continues first adjustment affecting bank % should happen this month and I hope it will.

PS: This have nothing to do with Trump

You can always spot the mindless Trump supporters spewing alt-right hate talking points. When cornered with their lies and failed ideology their "brain trust" always spins it to be Obama or Clintons fault :(

So we agree. Under Obama, the stock market went through the roof on a massive upswing.

I knew it would come soon, but wasn't sure who would do it first. Can't say I'm surprised though.

In all fairness to Trump (not that he deserves it), Who's President doesn't matter that much to the stock market. [Article]

So when did it increase more than 7,000 in a year before?
I seriously wonder if you can even read sometimes. I said increase. The increase is higher than any other year before. No one has seen an increase like this. I never said %. Thats the voice in your head that constantly tells you all the wrong things you keep posting.
