I read the other day you can take a sock, put some kitty littler in the sock, tie the end up and toss the fucker up in the corner of the dash at night. supposed to pull the moisture before your windows can fog... thoughts?

this is how i heard the trick working.. never used it personally, but kitty litter makes more sense cause it would double as the traction if you needed it

just wake up and throw warm water over the window and let the engine run for 10 minutes while having a coffee.

It won't crack the dash if you count to potato before you fill the sock...

Congrats on betraying your home state. You must be proud.

It probably doesn't have enough surface area to absorb that much moisture. Moisture will stick to your windows before sticking to this, and stay there.

Do this instead: When you start your car, turn on your defogger to max AND open your windows a little. This will help dry out the are and push some moisture out of your car at the same time. Doing both at the same time defogs your windows faster than just doing one or the other.
