Anyone Ever Used Namesilo.com/ ?
OK so I wanted to buy a domain, the guy wants more than I wanted to pay for it... about double...
He suggested we could use Namesilo.com but I have never heard of them... he tells me they offer finance on domains over 12 months :Oh crap Anyone ever use them ? Any good or bad feedback ? |
Buying a domain? Escrow.com only
|
You must be living in cave if you didnt heard for namesilo, they are cheapest possible domain registar. But dont know do they provide any escrow service.
|
I only use them, go for it
|
Namesilo makes it easier to sell domains without all the fees. if you want to go sedo or escrow than you are going to pay high fees.
|
:thumbsup for namesilo
|
they suck! the low price and quality are too much :disgust :helpme :1orglaugh

Escrow.com is highly recommended for valuable domains. Namesilo pricing is excellent, but user interface is just ok. |
I have most of my domains there. I?ve never heard of financing through them

NameSilo ROCKS! A decade ago I was with godaddy, moved over with hundreds of domains to namecheap, than they went shit and I left for namesilo. LOVE THEM. They have simple but superb interface, easy to set, everything is cool and fine.
No ripoff renewals, etc. free lifetime whois, 8.99 dot com... |

Used them in the past and have no issues. Makes sense to have a trusted third-party help facilitate the sale and transfer. |
Namesilo is the cheapest
|
They are one of the best in the registrar business.
|
Using NameSilo ever since the Moniker fiasco, it is an excellent service.
Their domain market offers some escrow service option but I believe the sale has to be over $ 1000. |
namesilo, easily the best registrar out there :thumbsup
|
most of my domains are there
|
They are one of the best and cheapest out there. :thumbsup
|
without comparison.
the best place to hold .com domain |
Namesilo for the win.

I have sold 'ON TIME PAYMENT' through namesilo and it works great for both the buyer and seller.
There is one hitch. You can't move the name from namesilo till it's paid for. You can still point the name to resolve at your server. Just registration is held till paid. The longest terms are 12 months unless the seller has limited them even more. This makes it a lease to own type arrangement. But if you are working with amounts near or over $10k, you might want to consider escrow.com. I say that as I have never taken a time payment at namesilo in that range and would not be aware of additional issues that I can't vouch for. If you would like help finding a domain for your niche... ask a experienced domain'r. I'm just a PM away. |

Thanks Guys...
Thanks every one for your input, I spoke to them and they offer a service where if the seller is willing to take payments over an agreed period, then they will manage everything... Just an idea I am exploring with the seller right now... :thumbsup
The maximum period they allow is 12 months, they take ownership of the domain... the buyer gets to develop the site and point it where they want... but cant do anything else until the final payment... |
I only use name silo :)
|
Love them on my domains
|
Job Done...
Went through with the deal... it was only $700, with the NameSilo system I put $100 down and will make 10 further payments of $60... pretty good system :thumbsup
|
Sure, have like 80% of my domains there.
|
Great system. Have many domains there.
