This is a REAL piece of shit right here
"Mass shootings are not inevitable. The majority of Americans support common sense gun reform. Though we feel angry, heartbroken, even helpless now, we have the power to elect people who will protect lives, not gun sellers’ profits. Remember these feelings in November, and VOTE."

Disappointed. I opened this thread with such expectations, but again it was merely clickbait and fake news... :(

no solution unless they ban guns, which is next to impossible.

Again I say it's sad we live in a country where people like Charles Manson died of old age and no one can figure out why shooting like this happen? Maybe if the law was actually enforced?
Lost my best friend to an illegal alien with a valid California drivers license that hit and run my best friend, they caught him and the outcome after killing one person and severally injuring the second , was found a block away asleep in his bed, was given 1 year for his misdeeds! The answer is not the regulation of firearms, it's the enforcement of our laws! |

1. Republicans blocking and filibustering 2. Elected officials getting a shitload of money from various gun lobbies. 3. The Democrats didn't really move to change much. They did a few things, but nothing of any real significance. 4. Many politicians fearing this issue so just steering clear of it. I'm not suggesting the Democrats will solve this problem. I know the Republicans won't. What I am saying is that all she is saying is that if there is a candidate who you feel shares the same beliefs as you when it comes to gun control, you should vote for them. There is nothing shitty about that. Personally, I think there are only three ways to change this and none of them are good. 1. We have to figure out what has changed culturally and try to fix that problem. I doubt this will happen because we are all over the map when it comes to why we think this is happening. 2. Ban all guns. Yes, I know criminals will still have guns, but this guy wasn't a typical criminal and typical people will have a very difficult time getting their hands an assault rifle. 3. Enact strict gun control laws that will allow those legally allowed to own a gun to get one, however, they are going to have to jump through a bunch of hoops and red tape to get one. The more obstacles you put between a person and a gun the more chances someone will catch the crazy person and keep them from getting the gun. I can't see any of these three ever happening. In short, I don't think what Hillary said is shitty. That said, I don't think this problem is going to go away anytime soon. |
