Russian arrested in Spain 'over mass hacking'

"The arrest was part of a "complex inquiry carried out in collaboration with the FBI", police said.

Mr Levashov is subject to a US international arrest."

"Mr Levashov's wife Maria told Russian broadcaster RT that the arrest had been made in connection with allegations that Russians had hacked the US presidential election.

She said Spanish police had told her the arrest was in connection with "a virus which appears to have been created by my husband and is linked to [Donald] Trump's victory"."

^^
However, Agence France-Presse news agency quoted a source close to the matter in Washington as saying that Mr Levashov's detention was "not tied to anything involving allegations of Russian interference with the US election".

Bladewire's still trying to forget Rosenstein told him Trump had nothing to do with Russian collusion :1orglaugh

In America when an election is done, it's done.

Holding the people accountable that fucked with our election should be expected it would be negligent to do anything other than track those people down and hold them accountable in a court of law.

I agree with Bladewire. I don't not believe we have a policy in place to void an election?

Instead, we have the impeachment process. At a certain point if there is enough evidence that Russian influence had a big impact on the election I would imagine he could be impeached on that alone.

And then what? You install a Democrat permanently in the White House? Because we all know that this same nonsense is going to happen to every Republican that ever gets elected.

^^ But it didn't. Facebook and Twitter execs testified to Congress. Nothing affected the outcome.

^^ It's like talking to a brick wall with some people
