Publishing content that was purchased
 

Hi guys,

If I buy non-exclusive content for my tube site:

- what is obligatory to do (in terms of legal/copyright)?
- what is recommended to do?

For example, specifically:

- jpg metadata has fields such as: copyright type, copyright url, copyright description. Should they be filled in?
- can I add my site name as a watermark and how should it appear? (with copyright symbols ...)
- anything else to consider?

Read the contract from whomever you bought it from.
If it's not clear, then ask them. In fact, even if it is clear, ask anyway just to play it safe.

What you can and cannot do varies depending on this.

Sounds reasonable but I didn't get a contract. Is there a template text somewhere I can ask the content producer to send me? Sure some senior folks here can give me specifics.

I don't want to make anyone's life harder but I'd like to have this item.
