What about smaller niche specializing channels for some very specific audience?
There are quality tech channels but only for certain people.

it's in the 100's of millions.
They cut my traffic off with the new changes.

Does this create an opportunity for niche video sites? DIY for specific tech fields. Low "quantity" but extreme "quality".

People don't go to YouTube for physics help. It doesn't occur to them that they can find valuable knowledge, or at least not easily. But if those physics videos are all connected together in a physics specific tube that is a highly targeted and expensive niche.

I look for EDM tutorial videos on YouTube for Ableton Live from time to time. I know they are on there, I run into them in really weird random ways, but they are not easy to find and they are never organized in any meaningful way. A tube full of those tutorials would be the perfect solution.

and btw if there are any big youtubers doing what you said, they're not getting paid. Nothing is allowed on Youtube anymore after the adpocalypse. Even comedy is demonetized because it's too offensive. Only family friendly cookie cutter crap without personality is allowed.

YT is deciding on "quality" by the number of subscribers. They can't manually review every channel.

But fluffy slime queen is making YT more money.

Money is the name of the game. It's not YTs job to educate.
