Poll: Trump's approval rating hits historic low of 35 percent

http://www.redstate.com/wp-content/u...ad-620x398.jpg

Nearly one year after his inauguration, President Donald Trump?s approval rating sits at 35 percent, according to a new poll released Tuesday by CNN, a historic low for a commander in chief in the December of his first year in office.

The 35 percent approval rating is Trump?s worst mark yet in CNN polling. Fifty-nine percent of respondents said they disapprove of the way Trump has handled his job as president. Before Trump, no president dating back to Dwight Eisenhower ever had an approval rating lower than 49 percent in December of the first year in office

Tax break my ass. I am making an extra $12 a month.

Fake News.

TRUMP APPROVAL SURGES TO 50%

5 points ahead of Obama on same date of his presidency.

:rasta

kane 02-25-2018 06:53 PM

He sent out a campaign fundraising email today featuring a picture of him visiting one of the wounded kids from the Parkland school and asks for donations to his re-election campaign. . . keeping it classy:Oh crap.

And he wonders why people don't like him.

ilnjscb 02-26-2018 09:46 AM

Rasmussen: 49%
Obama at this time in his presidency: 44%

CNN: 35%

Why do you think there is such a divergence in the polls?

Bladewire 02-26-2018 09:58 AM

Trump supporters don't believe facts or polls, unless they fit their agenda and they'll believe a factless conspiracy theory over their own eyes for the same reason. Sad

Because CNN weights the poll heavily AND poses the question in a way to get negative responses.

The goal of CNN is to make Republicans in Congress think Trump is unpopular so they won't work with him.

CNN is a sad shadow of the great news organization they used to be.

The Porn Nerd 02-26-2018 10:17 AM

Trump could rape and murder a Catholic Nun on the White House lawn and his Supporters would say the bitch deserved it.

Pres. Clinton had that same ability.

People are looking at the job the President is doing.
Only the beltway people and media give a shit about all the "game of thrones" drama.

Real working men and women could care less about all that noise.

Yup, weighted double from the Rasmussen poll. Of course CNN polls are not to be trusted. Remember when Huff post had Hillary at 97% to win the presidency the day before the election??

Trust me.. go to any truck stop in a rural area and you will hear some old fat white guy bitching about Hillary and thinking everything Trump does is MAGA.. Idiots like Joushamo27 and onwebcam exist in real life...

Still to this day, there are nutters who still have Trump's campaign signs in their yard like they are flying the Nazi flag.. I'd think it's 100% accurate there is about 35% crazed lunitic lile onwebcam..

Onwebcam is probably in his 60's or 70s and does nothing everyday but sit in his smoke filled trailer somewhere in Kentucky, Tennessee or South Carolina typing on some discolored 1990s keyboard that hasn't been cleaned in years and has some right wing radio playing in the background where they blame a liberal 15 times between every commercial break..

^^ Fake News.

Mark is attempting to smear WND.com as if it were the "Weekly World News" supermarket tabloid. This is what leftists do. Ignore facts and create smear campaigns because they have no valid argument.

Formerly known as World Net Daily, "WND.com is an independent news company dedicated to uncompromising journalism, seeking truth and justice and revitalizing the role of the free press as a guardian of liberty. WND has broken some of the biggest, most significant and most notable investigative and enterprising stories in recent years."

"WND consistently ranks as the “stickiest” news site on the Internet, meaning readers spent more time on it than on any other – including giants CNN, MSNBC and ESPN.

"WND often ranks at the top of the news pack in number of pageviews per user and minutes per page – two other important categories measured by Internet ratings agencies."

Sorry if you're against liberty and independent news, Mark.

Your news sources have deceived you, and Trump's done nothing wrong.

I thought the whole Monica Lewinsky "scandal" was fucking stupid. And like most Americans thought it was a witch hunt and that Ken Starr was allowed to go too far.

I thought Clinton was a great President. And I think Trump is doing a great job so far too.

And I would say that "No"...I'm familiar enough with Trump (who isn't after 40 + years in the media spotlight).
I know what his ideas are, his vision is, etc.
So I already know what I agree and disagree with him on.

His economic moves have been PERFECT so far. Obama really had the economy hog-tied in my opinion (and apparently the nation's now that we are hitting GDP that Obama and Democrats said was "impossible").

I like his foreign policy so far as well.

Don't agree with "Build A Wall". But I have said that since the very beginning.

Why would he be "fired"? Number one...he's never worked for any company. He's owned his own and never made it a publicly traded company. Fully family owned.

But IF he did and he was the CEO...why on Earth would they fire a man who just more than DOUBLED the GDP of the nation?

He lowered corporate taxes. One good thing. He has done a hundred shitty things.

Edit: to your claim to know his stance on stuff. Where does he stand on guns? He just said the liba want to take them away. He says the NRA is on our side. He just said he would fight the NRA. He just said.... fuck he is a train wreak.

Yep, and also REPEALED all of Pres. Obama's Executive Orders that were strangling our economy.
Also got us out of the Paris Accords which would have destroyed our economy and done NOTHING to "fix" "climate change".

Those are things that have made the economy ROAR. That is stuff that has a REAL effect on working families. It's not some pie-in-the-sky rainbows and unicorns economic theory bullshit that politicians spew (and they have never even WORKED in the public sector to begin with).

So you noticed that NO...GDP was NOT higher in 2014 and 2015.

And I don't need to "buy a clue" on this one. The economy is doing better than it has in decades.
You can hate Trump all you want, but the economy is undeniable.

EDIT...I think you are looking at a couple of quarters that were really good. But not a sustained GDP
