Free traffic for adult tube
 

Hello everybody,

Can someone share some methods for free traffic for adult tube, besides SEO?
I found several guides about this, but articles are from 2015, 2016, I am not sure if this still works.

Tumblr, twitter, sex.com and reddit , there is a start ;)

I used reddit when I was first getting started, but was only able to make a couple bucks per day with that traffic. The bigger subreddits only allow established tubes so you're stuck with niche shit, which won't get you enough traffic.

Twitter/tumbler would probably be better monetized with affiliate offers (see crakrevenue) than trying to push traffic to a tube. I see lots of twitters/tumblrs doing this; they post a ton of content and mix in links to affiliate offers. I don't see any twitters/tumblrs pushing traffic at tubes.

TBH I've been running profitable tubes for years and studying all my competition religiously and the only popular tubes I see (including mine) have done it through SEO and traffic buying. Traffic buying actually seems to be a source of SEO, since it can increase your type-in traffic (which google clearly uses as a signal).

Twitter: Post 2 minute clips and a link to the longer version along with it in your tweets. (better to create niche twitter accounts for this to get more followers and targeted traffic). Not that much traffic when starting out but the quality of it seems better ( from my experience). One of my niche twitter accounts has over 200,000 real followers, it's 10 years old and has a very specific, generic adult handle so that might help me a bit.

Reddit: Stay away from the big subreddits (you will get banned almost immediately) but search for smaller subreddits, there are many of them in every niche imaginable and most are not even moderated or have more relaxing rules (you will have to find them yourself though).

Lots of traffic from reddit, but they don't buy shit. Just to make a couple of bucks from ad views or clicks.

Tumblr: I don't use them anymore. Fuck Tumblr.

thehun still posts galleries nowdays, I dont know If tube galleries are Ok for them, but you can try , at least is for free


Sex.com?

Reddit can get lots of traffic, but it does not convert at all, but it make be useful if you want to brand your site. Twitter and Tumblr are becoming less adult friendly, but still can some drive traffic. Did you try to trade traffic with related sites?

I promote my tube on Reddit, I have good results, but earnings are low. I registered at thehun and my first submission is approved, I guess I have to submit every day for better results.

When it comes to sex.com, I don't understand how this works, I installed some kind of add-on but it doesn't work for videos, only for images. I guess I have to create Gallery on my tube, images can attract lots of visitors.

@j3kules - Can you tell me more about traffic trading? Is there some traffic script I should use?

sex.com will not drive you a lot of traffic, maybe if your pic get some high trendings

You guys have a list of subreddits that allows small sites there? Most I've found including the small ones only allows big sites likepornhub, imgur, gfycat, xhamster and so on

In the stone age i used to put up fake personals ads on craigslist. And they converted well, teenrevenue, a network of solo girl sites. Once i spent the afternoon cloning a celebrity sextape site and stuffing in seo typos. That sent a few coin every time the celeb got her panties on mainstream tv.

It's gotten a lot tougher.

Best advice. Find a niche and be original. In life too.

Try all social media platforms, reddit, also try link building by submitting your site to adult directories, exchange/link trades to linkspun.
