One-time fee. All “porn” sites blocked unless they you pay. I’m thirty minutes from RI and employees here are bitching about it as a few live there. They won’t say which sites but did say you have to pay to see child pornography. Seriously. They then said they’re working on blocking those illegal sites including escort, teen porn, and I believe they included swinging. I read the article this morning on another device. I’ll look for the link in a bit.

I find it hard to fathom that anyone with legal training would think such a law would even begin to pass constitutional scrutiny. I'm not a lawyer, don't even play one on the Interwebs, and I can see very clear problems with the First Amendment.

I hope someone has pointed out the costly legal fight they're in for should such a law be passed. Can RI afford that?

Why would it affect a town in another state, two hours away on a good day, four hours away in summer? It took me ninety minutes in the winter to get there, now about twenty minutes more.

Ptown is at the end of the Cape in Massachusetts. And it's a wealthy community so a $20 ONE TIME FEE won't affect them much.

Your post was a poor attempt at gay bashing humor. Most homophobes aren't bright enough to know that RHODE ISLAND and MASSACHUSETTS are separate states, or that Ptown is a Massachusetts town. They just know out East is a swishy city full of fags, not a cultural artistic town with wealthy residents, gorgeous homes, awesome restaurants and friendly, accepting people.
