Don’t Read This When Eating ... SHOCKING Food Ingredients
I’m officially on a starvation diet, eating only things I can grow!
Shocking Things You Never Knew About Your Favorite Foods 3. A typical jar of peanut butter contains 10 or more rodent hairs in it, averaging one or more rodent hair per 100 grams. 4. In addition to those rodent hairs, the average jar of peanut butter may contain hundreds of insect fragments. 6. Most figs actually contain the bodies of dead wasps. 7. Beavers have an anal sac that produces castoreum, which has been used in popular food and beverages as a substitute for vanilla flavoring. 9. For every one-half cup of tomato sauce, there may be 30 or more fly eggs included. 11. For every glass of water you drink, there's nearly a 100% chance that a portion of it has been peed out by a dinosaur. 12. Apple seeds and cherry pits are toxic. They release cyanide when metabolized and can kill you if you eat enough of them. 13. Per FDA standards, a single cup of most canned citrus fruit juices is allowed to contain up to one maggot or five fruit fly eggs. 15. Most sugar is actually bleached with bone char from animals, yielding its white color. 16. Beetles are crushed up to produce a dye that makes all of your favorite candies red. Then again, you have to water growing things and water has dinosaur pee. |
