I just typed sexpics into google and got nothing but porn. Do you have some kind of safe search on?

kmanrox 03-10-2018 02:17 AM

Bruh, check your SafeSearch settings.

just a punk 03-10-2018 02:18 AM

Turn the safe search off.

P.S. LOL, just thought. Sex is not safe at Google while dismembered dead bodies are ok there.

Beaver1 03-10-2018 03:27 AM

Thanks for the feedback, but my safe search is off.

Clean history, cookies, euro vpn ips, firefox, desktop.

Klen 03-10-2018 04:48 AM

It is probably due your nickname, you think about pussy , but google think about animal lol. You should post screenshot in order to make further troubleshooting.

Happens to me too. "Sexo tube", which is a pure adult key, returns in google.es the first result YouTube :1orglaugh

Check this result on same page. Google is out of any sense lately:

Amateur bestiality porn
wap.baidu.com/...tube.../tc?...FreeBeastiality%2525252CZoo%2525252CBizarreT ube...
cenas de sexo explicito zoofilia cavalos fodendo mulher somente exibir gratis. Tag: cavalos cenas exibir explicito fodendo gratis mulher sexo somente zoofilia. free zoophilia porn. Tag: free porn zoophilia. yazoo city high school alunmi. Tag: alunmi city high school yazoo. Tag: milf zoo. sexo tube video zoo. Tag: sexo tube ...

As you can see, it found sexo tube in tags, so it decided to give a fair place in top 10. Not to mention the title. OMFG

On same page, Google Books:

Crea tu proyecto Tube - Google Books Result
https://books.google.ro/books?isbn=8483565498
Roger Cusa - 2011 - ‎Business & Economics

Only keyword "sexo" is present, but no keyword "tube". And it's Google Books...for real? WTF are the engineers are Google smoking?!?

Can anyone enlighten me too of wtf is Google doing? (it's already so for couple of months). Here is the top 10:

I am not realy sure.
Maybee they have problems to serve the serps, on shared IPs, like an VPN Server.

yes - actually i see on google.com no results for porn and on google.de not one for porno

but this issue was already weeks ago in other countries for a day or 2 and then went back.

i am not really sure what google want´s here but actually I do not see less traffic because all combination keys are working same as before.

maybe google want to bann the "unsharp" phrases - same they did with "sex" years ago.

windstorm 03-10-2018 12:41 PM

Well I for one am being affected by these changes, across whole network, different sites, different niches, but SE grows/decreases at same time when Google does something.

There are many keywords affected and I am talking about long tailed ones, from 2 keywords and more.

Imagine, you are competing for a keyword, but instead of trying to have one spot in top 10, you actually fight for one of only 2 spots in top 10, because rest is filled with shit.

but 2 word (or more) keys are not effected at all.
the problem is just a some big keys and when you really think about it you will realize that they are not "owned" by the porn industry.

I just told I am being affected network wide. So it's not like one site that performs badly, but all at the same time (different IPs, different servers).

So when I see these shit serps results, just like others have pointed out (and webmasters friends of mine), it is clear that Google is acting doing a lot of crap lately.

For example, in mid September, they did this shitty update that affected me. My network has different languages (en, spanish etc.) and they all lost at the same time.

Now again I see swings, ups and downs. My guess is they are preparing a strong update. These serps cannot be like that, not unless they really want to shit on surfer.

Btw, I just searched in google.de for "porno". Guess what: no porn results in serps, only mainstream. And you can be sure 100% I am not in the same country as you are (not DE too).

Last time I did same search, I could see many porn websites.

this is what i think also. this issue happend a few times before but changed a few days later.

but google did that like 10 years ago with "sex" - since than you can not find porn related results on that term.

true - but the funny is: search for "pornos" and all is the same as before.
also searches for "porn" and "sexpics" in the picture search is leading to full hardcore.

so this is DEFINITELY nothing final.

i can here only speculate that is has to do with the UK-rules (because it effects also "porn") or google get too much in trouble with the child protectors (what was the reason for banning "sex")

faxxaff 03-11-2018 08:42 AM

It's obvious: Google has a vision to filter out adult for good. Just a matter of time until the final bell shuts us off. I always thought they would start their own age verification, but I doubt that. now.

Whenever you see books.google.com in the top 3 pages they are fucking with things. I swear books.google.com is used for placeholders while the update goes through.

Look at algoroo or mozcast and you'll see there are some changes going on. They aren't the best indicators but it can give you some clue.

windstorm 03-12-2018 12:53 AM

Problem is, I've seen books.google.com for a very long time already in SERPS for adult terms.
They somehow get better placements probably due to backlinks. They rank just by having those keys somewhere in text. Out of any sense.

google will never block porn as long as they find a way for showing it.

i don´t know why adultwebmasters see here the point in google.

Google get´s a lot of trouble with many governments and child protectors all around the globe. the additional problem is that in a more and more open society many kids are just searching for explanations of a phrase instead for the content.

Google did the same years ago with "sex" because you can find 10 times more reasons that a search request for this key has absolutely nothing to do with porn content.

those who have anticipated this development and optimized it to the deep rather than big one-word phrases have done the right thing, because on such pages, the traffic is constant or has even gone up.

here is an interesting article who explains that issue from googles perspective

not in regards to porn!

google tries to respect the laws from each and every country (because they have to)
and there are so many filters what are just effecting one or a few countries that the general algo of google does not fit into that.

but i have posted a link before what makes the whole thing a bit clearer - and it says in fact exactly what i have predicted years ago.

they will not ban porn - but they make it harder to get porn results on so called "unsharp keys". this is a learning process also for users. but they learned it with "sex" in a time when we had not that much experienced users as we have now.

Maybe those surfers start to realize there is more than Google in search engines. Bing and duckduckgo are decent alternatives and they don't screw over the surfers. Why do they have to refine searches just because Google told so?

and who do you think would be the target after all porn moves to bing?

bing and co are just too small to get problems with governments and youth protectors.
they would love to see all traffic concentrated at the end on one because nothing easier as to eliminate one enemy.

if you see the problem in a problem and not the chance for another strategy you waste your time. it is always better to swim with the stream of the river as against it.

So if Google decides they just don't like porn anymore (regardless of gov restrictions), what am I supposed to? What strategy to adopt? :)

Also, regarding Google complying with governments. I wonder, when will they draw the line between what is supposed to be censored and not? Will they adhere to free speech or just think about business only? Because that is the feeling nowadays, the business surpasses free speech.

They banned many adult sites in Google.de because government asked so, they didn't care about surfers. Surfers can still access by directly going to tubes. They should have denied the request. After all, Google is free to use, nobody forces people to use it.

again - they do NOT censor anything - if they wanted to censor it the sites would not be there anymore.

i don´t know if you ever heard of things like chilling effects or if you read about this actual case in germany

this crime movie about porn was send at 8PM and google was flooded with search keys like "squirting" and "bukkake" because kids and non-professional internet users wanted to know what these words mean.

do you really think that google or anybody else will stand those arguments of the child protectors very long ?

do you see what they try now in US ?
they want to declare porn as a DISEASE !!!

how do you think can a search engine defend itself when is is breaking a law what is declared as spreading the black pest ?

you only see YOUR point but to understand what happens here you have to understand the situation from EVERY point.

google need to do something and needs arguments for showing porn results - if they don´t do it they will simply get blocked or sued.

they are not that stupid not to know that they will lose users without porn - that´s why they fight for it since they started.

without google there would not be one search engine left with porn results. because google is big enough to stand this fight. no other one would be able to take and handle this pressure. i can show you thousands of local search engines what took porn out after they got the first email from child protectors or legal departments or just some silly lawyer.

you are blaming here definitely the wrong people.
and this problem will become bigger as more ultra conservative backward thinkers get in power worldwide.

Beaver1 03-12-2018 11:38 PM

I am so happy, that i am not the only one, whitout porn on google.

They are running a core update:
https://searchengineland.com/google-...-update-293961

Lets pray to God that they found a core, to update.
