Teen Who Gouged Out Her Eyes Explains Why She Did It
 

Kaylee Muthart is ready to explain why she gouged out her eyes last month outside a church in Anderson, South Carolina, which she says she did during methamphetamine-fueled hallucinations.

Muthart, 19, told the Anderson Independent Mail newspaper the last thing she remembers seeing on Feb. 7 was a light pole morphing into a white dove. The world was ending at that moment, she convinced herself, and gouging out her eyes would save the planet.

“I thought I was sacrificing myself for the world,” she said. “It wasn’t voices, but I thought it was real.”

Muthart goes into explicit detail describing what happened next in a first-person piece for Cosmopolitan. Warning: Her description of what she did to herself and her injuries is graphic and disturbing.

She had such pretty blue eyes so sad

I read about that last week. I wondered why no one noticed abnormal behavior previously. Or, did bi-polar strike her later in her life and this was her first episode? Drugs certainly didn’t help her.

I also wondered what type of damage she did for them not to consider a transplant. No donor in the databank or too much damage?

Glass eyes can help her appearance but it’s a shame what happened. Her story needs to be in every school for drug prevention. Jail isn’t as scary as being blind

The story said that her pastor found her "He later said, when he found me, that I was holding my eyeballs in my hands. I had squished them, although they were somehow still attached to my head." Sad

I read about this. Pretty sad stuff.
Apparently this happens more than we're aware of.

Religion and meth are a dangerous mix

2 kinds of people.

1) There's people who only need to see what drugs do to addicts. And that's good enough for them to decide that drugs isn't the life they want for themselves.

2) And then there's people who need to hit rock bottom in the depths of addiction, destroying themselves and possibly everyone around them, for it to finally click in their heads that drugs isn't the life they want for themselves.

This same analogy can be applied to conservatives and liberals in the USA.

1) Conservatives only need to see what the massive influx of savage, angry refugees have done to Europe. And that's good enough for them to decide that a massive influx of savage, angry refugees isn't what they want for their country.

2) Liberals would much rather prefer to make that decision after a massive influx of savage, angry refugees have already destroyed their country for themselves and everyone around them. And instead of sleeping in the bed they made, they want to escape the situation and leave everyone else around them to continue suffering.

About 10 years ago I think there was as story of a man who had the flesh-eating disease in his face and was told that they would have to remove his nose and the top half of his mouth or it would kill him.

While in surgery doctors found that the disease had spread to his eyes and they had no choice but to remove them too.

Just imagine this this poor son of a bitch. He went to sleep knowing he would be disfigured for the rest of his life, and when he woke up he was fucking blind on top of that.

This kind of thing and what that poor girl did to herself is the stuff of nightmares to me.
