Want to sell some domain names.
Before I even finish signing up, I get this:

Your Sedo account has been marked and suspended during a security check.
To verify the authenticity of the contact address details and reopen your account, we require your assistance.

Please send us a copy of your ID (passport or driving license) and proof of your postal address (bank statement, utility bill addressed to you and dated in last 6 months) to [email protected], or simply answer to this email and attach your documents.

Should the entries in your Sedo account be incorrect or expired, please send us the correct details so that we can update this information.

Also, if you have to change the name and surname of the contact person in your Sedo account, please send us the passport and address proof of this individual. Please be informed it will not be possible to re-open your Sedo account without any ID copy and the asked utility bill.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter and thank you in advance for your support.

The way that should go down is when the check happens during sign up and they get a red flag the next page or form to appear is an identity check form.

The way they did that to you so adversarial in- there going to scare off a fuck lot business doing it that way damn.

well sedo isn't what it used to be anyway, you should have a really great domain which stands out to sell it there.

i sold some domains there in 2-6k eur range in the past but that was pure luck.

Yeah i'll put them on flippa. Doesnt work on mobile for me so ill do it later. They're travel, art and legal related. Anyway...

list it on godaddy auctions theres much more buyers there...

Sedo is useless and I sure know uselesness.

I had some luck there too but that was a decade ago.
There was a big delay in getting paid for a sale and that pissed me off.

They owe me like $2. :D
And as for the selling domains thing, I never had any success with them.

Most of my domain sales happen direct through my own domain name sales sites. As far as third party sites that occasionally bring me sales Afternic is the strongest due to their distribution network. :2 cents:

GoDaddy owns Afternic. There are also lots of buyers on SnapNames and NameJet, but they tend to be domainers vs. end users.
