The sad thing is a human side driver was in the Uber and supposed to stop things like this from happening. Now because the more I side driver didn't press the brake pedal and pay attention while he was driving the whole operation is offline for a while. Sucks

Depends on the circumstances and reaction time of the accident. Maybe the driver simply didn't have enough time to react...he was a little too reliant on the automated system.

Hard to say.

Certainly a setback anyways.
