He was being kept in reserve until needed, and was obviously up to speed on the environment narrative in case that's where he was deployed.

The media tries to use whitey's connection to nature as a weapon against us, so it's little wonder that their teen disciples get giddy with it. These (((urbanites))) should spend centuries living in harmony with the land, and then get back to us.
