Exactly, same goes for all these retards debating politics over and over and over. Do you seriously not have anything better to do with your lives?

National politics doesn't really affect us much.

Trump just passed this tax bill. It will have zero effect on me. We aren't making any more money than we were last year. I also don't believe huge corporations will lower their prices because they are making more money, or hand out bonuses to more people. In the mean time, taxes go up and taxes go down and I do my best to pay as little as possible.

Same with healthcare. I am going to pay for healthcare one way or the other.

What makes a huge difference, however, is local politics. If we go to war in the morning with another country has zero impact on my life, but if my garbage isn't picked up Wednesday it's an issue for me.

What effects our lives the most is local government - starting with police and fire protection. That and roads, clean water, etc.

Well lucky you; the rest of us either die in the war or cry about those who do.

When the West first started sending terrorists to Syria, it was traumatic for many of us watching, desperately trying to get the truth out on social media and writing to politicians.

Common painkillers such as Ibuprofen and Tylenol are known to block emotions in the brain, with so many taking them, it could be why so many people don’t care about the attrocities taking place.

As for the gun stuff, I suspect there is some kind of war being planned on US soil in the coming years, most likely to help bring in the UN world government, so it would make sense to reduce the number of weapons beforehand.
