Domain name matching a book's title
I bought a domain name intended for porn but I have recently found there is a book (published in 2013) with a very smiliar name, the only difference is the "-ing" suffix in the book's title.
It's a shitty coincidence since I had thought the name up myself and the words combination is quite unusual. My domain name: verb+noun .com The book's title: verb(-ing) + noun The words are same , the difference is just the "-ing" form. :disgust Are there possible legal problems if I use the domain? No registered trademark was found by me. |
As long as you aren't selling books on the domain you should be fine :)

Hard to say not knowing the name...

It's for a paysite. The book itself is quite unfamiliar. |

If no trademark you're fine as book titles can't be copywritten. Good luck! :thumbsup |

See? You can actually be a good guy. :winkwink: |
If an author or publisher can't be arsed to pay $10 a year for the domain name of their book title, do you really think they're going to care about it?
