What is really hidden under Skoda badge on engine covers?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Etf3yMznKN4 Yes, both are part of the same group (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Group), so many cars share the same engines, but still there should be a better solution lol |
i was hoping it was going to be a poo... :(

Please don't tell me you just found this out - or that this was in any way a surprise to you?
I mean it's only 25 years or so that Škoda (like Seat, Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley) belong to VW. |

and beers? |
I don't know anything about Skoda, but the moment I saw the shape of the logo I knew it was VW. My kid's VW broke down last night - battery died - so I was working on it last night.
This is not entirely uncommon, one brand using a motor from another company. Is Skoda any good? I honestly have no idea. |

beer? for sure. |

and they are very popular throughout whole Europe |

but I prefer Czech beer. I love Staropormenn :) |

The point is they cover the original VW badge with the other one instead of replacing it... This screams cheapness and makes it look like some Chinese shit sold under different brands in Europe. |

Or since fanta and cola belong to same company you could find cola label under fanta and so on? It has nothing to do with belonging, it is basic brandng, nobody does things like that, that is why it is interesting. Not that this discovers that skoda and ww is the same company. |

I don't and I don't plan to do so. :winkwink: The larger the concern is the worse generic shit they produce. |

I gotta step up for Skoda. Driving it for 5 years so far and plan to switch to a new, bigger Skoda - Karoq, soon. Besides being a great deal, it's superbly durable and much cheaper in maintenance. It's not made in aspiration for German roads, making it way more reliable on roads that look like minefields. And it's consuming about half of the gasoline a car of its size should while being very quick on the uptake, maneuverable and simply superb on a long haul drive.
Yes, it's not flashy and if your goal is showing off, Skoda won't do it for you. But for a reliable car that does its job and saves you money, it's a really great choice. |
