Completely dependent on source and geo. Top-tier geos will be anything from $0.70 (for min-bid remnant traffic on trafficshop) to $4.00+ (for premium impressions on premium sites).

Agree with this, when you are buying broad traffic.
Most traffic networks dont allow you to limit by android device or key indicators like screen resolution, which can make it difficult to weed out crap, even from Tier 1 countries. iOS is easy, but that's 10% of the market. You want to be able to hit the android flagships and forget the rest too. Touch when you dont have a system in place to resell the crap

The prices are literally set via auction/bidding--it's an economy. There's someone out there buying traffic at these prices and making a profit...but with untargeted adult traffic, they're doing it selling scams to idiots, not promoting legitimate products.
