Yes, looks like you are in the same situation, I've got a few phone calls with them, also had a talk with a manager and it seems they are not going to transfer those funds.

rowan 04-16-2018 05:25 PM

My money is in motion.

FCP reported they'd processed my wire and I could expect receipt within a few business days. Then they shut down.

Funds are supposed to be returned to the sponsor but who knows how long that will be.

Yeah, looks like you are in a different situation, hope to get your money.

adultchatpay 04-16-2018 05:46 PM

I know one issue similar to yours. It will be processed for sure. Their support is still online and they have been diligently answering queries.

I withdraw most of the funds in my card the first day they had the problem. Though i still have some money there i can use online, and it is still working.

Andreweb 04-17-2018 12:47 AM

I have some money froze also but to be honest I think they are lost forever!

brassmonkey 04-17-2018 01:22 AM

god i hate to read shit like this :helpme:helpme we work hard for the money we get. i been working 18 plus hours a day. drinking lots of coffee and red bull. i only get checks and paypal. my checks i android to the bank. hope they give you your paper.

Petra 04-17-2018 05:49 AM

I have money stuck in a merchant account. ;-\ I also have several payments my payroll person did the day/night of the freeze that never made it to performer accounts.

I was told that once the freeze was lifted (can legally be there up to 90 days) FCP plans on getting everyone's money back. No idea what will happen with the money that was being transferred when the freeze went into effect though. If it'll get pushed to the card, bounced back to my account or be lost in limbo.

Securom 04-17-2018 11:02 AM

I have 30K frozen )))

biiiglia 04-17-2018 11:14 AM

If you had more than $10k on your FCP balance then $10k is on your card which you still can spend but all the rest is frozen on an account of Choice Bank. Many people have the same problem. You are not alone. No answers from FCP.

Many GFYers went through this with ePassporte 10 years ago.

We keep no money in these kinds of accounts, or their cards.

SNRProductions 04-17-2018 12:29 PM

I literally sent a wire a day before this news broke to pay some of my models. I asked my bank to recall it but I don't know how that will work out.

nikki99 04-17-2018 12:39 PM

guess my panic was about right

Yes, you are right.. I stepped into this industry right after ePassporte closed so I didn't had any funds there.

its already 10 years since this? wow

NickBaer 04-17-2018 03:49 PM

Even Ruth told me at a trade show, they make their money receiving and sending funds, not storing them. So withdraw asap.

The Wire should have been rejected by FirstChoice Bank.

NickBaer 04-17-2018 03:54 PM

I got my ePassporte card down to about 25¢.

My FCP MasterCard at 12¢. That is an update from earlier when I thought I had gotten to like 22¢, but the foreign exchange purchase settled at 12¢.

What do you mean? Everyone is in the same boat as you ... no one has access to FCP funds if you don't have an ATM card. ATM cards still work if you want to withdraw that way.

I have a FCP ATM card but you can only have a max of $10k on it, rest of the funds go into your account balance. I withdrew all the money from card but I still have funds into my FCP balance which cannot be loaded on card or transfered anywhere.

rowan 04-19-2018 01:04 PM

I've just received notification from a program that the frozen funds "will" be returned to them, but not before 1st May at the earliest.

I don't know if this refers to channel payments only (which pass straight through FCP to a bank account), or whether it also includes balances held at FCP.

Unsure sure why FCP are not communicating this information directly to their customers.

Actually, re-reading it, they're saying that funds which were sent from the program but didn't get credited to the affiliate will be returned to the program. So it's not necessarily freeing up all frozen customer balances, just those funds which were in transit at the time FCP died.

rowan 04-21-2018 11:47 PM

It's really strange that their login page or account dashboard still says NOTHING about them abruptly ceasing business...

Captcha 04-22-2018 01:18 AM

is Payoneer working normally? ATM etc?

wky 04-22-2018 01:39 AM

Yes, transfers and ATM withdrawals work just fine for me.

And there STILL hasn't been an official statement from FCP. Just news via customer service or specific people who work there.

I received a generic email from FCP stating they were shutting down, but not any specific details about my outbound wire transfer being voided, or how they were proposing to return my funds. I've only heard details via the program that previously sent payouts to my FCP account.

I have a merchant account and haven't even gotten that.

I did oddly enough get a payoneer email the other day as if I still had a payoneer merchant account.

Freekymedia 05-04-2018 05:51 AM

Found this email yesterday from FCP, anyone got any answer ?

------------------------------------

Dear Customer,

On 04/10/2018, Choice Bank froze all deposits and virtual balances at the bank while it works through its temporary liquidity situation. As funds are held with Choice bank , Choice Bank is handling all inquiries relating to this matter so please direct any queries to Rob Anderson, Executive VP at Choice Bank, at [email protected]

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience

Thank You

The First choice Pay Team

-----------------------

As you have understood we are currently in a liquidity constrained position. This made us suspend loading prepaid cards and executing wire transfers. At this time we are gathering and analyzing the information we received from the card program managers.

Our aim is to return funds to card holders by wire transfer. I cannot give you a reliable timeframe for that at this point. Once I do I will inform you immediately.

Please also note that funds on cards will be available until 30th of June. I recommend to take these funds of the card as soon as possible.

I duly apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Best regards,

I have funds frozen at FirstChoicePay and receive no answers form ChoiceBank since weeks. A month ago they said that they will wire my funds and ask me to complete a form for this. I send all the information and after that I received no answers at all.
I am really stressed about this.
