I've always got at least a foot in the water, but I've been out and completing video production based projects for companies like Facebook, McDonald's, Merck and More.

Doing what I enjoy and getting paid well to do it, then leaving at the end of the day when my 8 hours is better than spending 20 hours a day stressing over my own operation.

The side gigs I've got on top of all that work out nicely too.

What started originally as a casual hobby for us...then turned into a fulltime lucrative gig...just became too time-consuming in a declining market and revenue stream. We got tired of doing all the hard work while paying the middleman (hosting and transaction processors), both of which were constantly demanding more and more. As everyone knows...it gets impossible to compete in a market glutted with free content.

Fortunately, we didn't have all our eggs in one basket. We shifted gears and moved on to other projects and endeavours that had more reliable payouts.

It was fun and satisfying while it lasted. We just got tired of riding the roller coaster.

That's funny 'cause 4 figures is what I give your mom to suck my dick.

Back in 96 I promised myself I would retire in 2000 and go live on my pensions on a beach in Thailand. In 1998 I met Eva and everything changed, no Thailand, no beach and 10 more years of hard graft. :1orglaugh

We retired from the biz in 2008 after Eva's nearly fatal crash which left her with a broken back and neck, she's fine now, and my cancer which made me give up work.

TBH we would of gotten out after the magazines we sold to closed.

We still have the old library for sale.

And worth every penny!! :D
