This is beyond ridiculous at this point.
This is from the article I first read this morning, oddly enough from our friend at Fox News:
Quote:
Nunes, R-Calif., cited the Five Eyes agreement as a way of knowing no intel was used. The U.S., along with Canada, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand, make up the “Five Eyes,” or countries that share intelligence in a more-trusted fashion than other arrangements, like NATO, particularly due to years of trust and a common language.

Basically what Nunes is saying is that the "Five Eyes Agreement" where various nations share information (and said countries do not spy on each other) failed to reveal in any intel which was used to start the investigation.
This proves.... nothing.
All that this means is that any intel uncovered wasn't uncovered by the "Five Eyes Agreement" and or wasn't shared with that agreement. No one ever claimed it started with the "Five Eyes Agreement". In fact, this started with the FBI. The "Five Eyes Agreement" is more about signals intel, which has been focused on terrorism related activity since 9/11. The agency that works with the "Five Eyes Agreement" is the NSA, not the FBI. Even so, if the NSA picked something up it doesn't mean it would have automatically been shared with other countries.
In fact, even if the NSA did pick something up about high treason in the United States.... It most likely wouldn't have been shared with foreign countries.
Sorry, Nunes needs to be removed from office. And most likely Nunes needs to be arrested and put in prison.
