Oh damn... this is horrible news. Chris was a guy with a huge heart. He will be missed by so many. I'm lost for words.

And looking at his Facebook page...he was just in attendance at The Phoenix Forum a couple of weeks ago.

That's pretty messed up, one of the first contacts I've met in the industry in person, at WMA Amsterdam in 2006. RIP - wishing strength and the best to the family.

From what I can tell Chris has pneumonia and had problems breathing, they tried CPR and rushed him to the hospital. From there they discovered he had brain swelling, and he was in a comma. (Someone please correct me here if I am wrong.)

It's stunning how quickly something like this can happen.
