They just blow shit around for an hour instead of just raking the fucking shit up.

Maybe it's to move away, to some more quiet place far from other people.

People should try creating less noise pollution.
I do the same work without all that noise and finish in the same amount of time.

I know, and I always hated that too. But this is how it is, you won't change them. And if you try to talk to them, even in most polite way possible about this, many will react with anger anyway.

I use an electric lawn mower, but that's my only outdoor power tool. I like doing things like raking the grass and leaves, cleaning the pool, washing the car etc manually. It's quiet and relaxing and even enjoyable. I'll never buy a blower.

Oh, no way am I going to say anything.
That will do nothing but create bigger assholes.
And that's a shame too.

But hey, let me crank the music to the same decibel level and the police come out in full force;
because people need to use leaf blowers but don't need music.

Our electric grass trimmer, leaf blower and pressure washer are almost just as noisy as the gas-powered ones.

In a neighbourhood of screaming children, ATVs and people with shitty exhaust systems...I no longer care how much noise I make outside. The only rule I abide by is no loud noise before 9am or later than 8pm.

Actually that works just fine the way I do it.
I circle the block until I find a parking meter in front of Stabucks and use the WIFI while sitting in my car.
