Wine is making me more ££££££££ than any other single investment
 

When i left the UK more than 20 years ago i left in storage 200+ cases of wine. Some Italian but mostly French. Over the years the storage company has sold and re stocked cases as they mature and brought in a return of about 20% after storage and cellar fees. But last year my holdings value increased by an average of more than 42%. Time to invest in more wine !




The price of wine is going up.
Global wine production slumped to its lowest level in 60 years in 2017, according to data from the International Organisation of Vine and Wine.
The most recent harvest produced 25 billion liters of wine, a decrease from 26.7 billion in 2016 and 27.6 billion in 2015. The decline was driven by weak harvests in key markets including Europe and South Africa.
The shortage has caused the wholesale price of basic wine in Italy to skyrocket 74% over the previous year, according to the European Commission. Prices are up 45% in Spain and over 10% in France.

Even your adult industry investments?

I don't count the four or five models i shoot each month an investment as the images are sold with © to my clients. My Industrial design work is an investment as i get royalties on every sale but nothing like 42% Wine is winning hands down and it tastes good !
