Ronny Jackson won’t return to old job as Trump’s physician

White House physician Ronny Jackson will not return to his role as the president’s personal physician, according to two senior administration officials, after a string of allegations caused the Navy rear admiral to withdraw his nomination last week to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Sean Conley, a Navy officer who took over Jackson’s role as the president’s personal doctor last month, will continue in the role, the officials said.

Jackson bowed out last week after Montana Sen. Jon Tester, the top Democrat on the Veterans’ Affairs Committee, released a document summarizing allegations by current and former colleagues that Jackson overprescribed pills, drank on the job and created a hostile work environment. Jackson has denied the allegations and has returned to work in the White House Medical Unit.

President Donald Trump has continued defending Jackson, with whom he formed a tight personal bond.

On Saturday, Trump wrote on Twitter that Tester should resign, saying that the Secret Service had been unable to confirm any of the allegations against Jackson.

Tester is facing a tough reelection in November in a state that Trump won resoundingly in 2016.

The president also wrote that “Tester’s statements on Admiral Jackson” were as baseless as special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia in the 2016 election — a probe he derided as “A TOTAL WITCH HUNT!!!” earlier this month.

The problem isn't Jackson or Trump. The problem is Democrats are lying deceiving pieces of shit and will do ANYTHING to derail Trump. No one wants to put their family through the Democrats lying deceitful smear campaigns.

If Jackson did nothing wrong, Chump has the power to keep him on as his personal physician and he didn't, why , because Chump is too scared that the bad publicity will rub off on him. Chump is a coward and any intelligent person knows this !

This yet more complete incompetence from the White House.

First, this morning I just learned Admiral Jackson was set to retire in six months. What? Why in the world would you promote someone to run such a large and important government agency when they are going to be there only six months?

Second, there seems to be some confusion about the current status of Admiral Jackson. The White House released a statement saying there was "no personnel changes" at the White House, but clearly this not true. The moment Jackson was nominated someone else was quickly moved into his position. This makes perfect sense - they expected Jackson to move up and out of the White House, so they quickly filled his spot. Now Jackson isn't moving up, his job position has been filled (he's been replaced), and Jackson still seems to have a job in the White House but no one is sure what it is. This is a very simple matter but it's simple stuff like this that constantly bogs down the White House. What they should have done is announced the new guy's promotion when it happened (which would be both routine and expected), and then when Jackson's nomination was canceled make a quick announcement about his status. This would have cleared everything up, and while it might have raised some eyebrows it's nothing compared to what looks like complete incompetence and yet another cover up from the White House.

Also this morning with the VA is another issue.... The VA is a large and important government agency - It's the second largest government agency, has nearly four hundred thousand employees, and a huge budget. Trump campaigned on fixing the VA but hasn't done anything yet.

It seems now that a "doctor friend" of Trump's from Mar A lago is now sitting in on calls about the VA's new healthcare computer system. This is the computer system to replace the system currently in use where vets are dying while waiting for appointments. Turns out "Trump's friend" (meaning "someone who puts money in Trump's pocket by being a member of Mar A lago) is calling the shots on a very important issue. I wonder if he has been vetted. (I am guessing he hasn't.)

Yet more complete incompetence from the White House. This is daily. It's not even 8am this morning and all of the news coming out of the White House is already bad.

You all know he was chief physician to the senior white house staff for Obama's presidency right? I was listening to Pod Save America (podcast of former Obama aids) where they all said that all the interactions they had with him were great and they had no issues with him while he treated them medically. But that like any human we don't know everything that people do.

He may be a great chief physician, but doesn't make him qualified to run the VA. As usual the WH didn't do their job of vetting. That makes a shit load of nominations that dropped out or were not allowed under Chump!
