I've been going through boxes of 'stuff' and ran across some old music I used to listen to in another lifetime.

Been playing it while working and it made me wonder, what do all of you listen to while working? What motivates you? Calms you? Makes you feel, awesome?

I listen to the birds (real ones) or the ac/fan.

Some music just drives me nuts when trying to write code.
And 90% of all commercials on radio or TV are like torture with the volume and loud fast talk.

Mindless fucking garbage.

I can't do music with words and the TV on while working? Forget it.

I avoid work and music altogether ...

Music is ALWAYS on here (Currently listening to Blues). It really helps me concentrate and create.

I think I've heard every rock, metal, and disco song out there so now I'm listening to Blues, Rap, Synth, and even country. Sometimes it's just too crappy but other times it works for me.

I either work in silence (most of the time), or I have the TV on the sports channels.

Once in awhile I'll Spotify up some chill music.

Fast music keeps me calm and relaxed. When I search for chillout stuff on YouTube, it's usually boring and not relaxing at all. So psytrance...
