Huge Star Wars fan here but "The Last Jedi" was fucking awful. It's put me off the next 'official' installment.

The "Solo" movies etc i will just take them for what they are and not go in with high expectations. If they turn out good, then good. "Rougue One" in my opinion certainly helped fill the gap before Episode 4 began, so was quite happy with that.

Other than that not sure the need for the rest but like i say if "Solo" turns out to be decent in it's own right then fair enough.

I still cringe at how fucking bad "The Last Jedi" was though. They lost me after the first 10secs with the "luke throws saber away" shambles. Then it just got worse after that...

Same opinion here, but I also hated The Force Awakens, new characters have zero motivations, and those who had some potential in EP7 have been killed in EP8 literally and figuratively.

I still hope Solo will be good, since Rogue One was, but they'd need to give up creating sequels after EP9, and start to make films from the old republic era.

The Last Jedi went a bit off the rails but over all it was still good. I'm just so glad Star Wars is back.

The new Han Solo movie tickets just went on sale this morning.... Can't wait for that either.

I have kind of lost interest in Star Wars. I love the original 3 movies. The Force Awakens was great. Rogue One was decent, but for some reason I haven't been hungry to see The Last Jedi. Solo looks interesting because it's directed by Ron Howard (Wow!), but if that is the only interesting piece of the movie that's interesting to me, then I must be losing interest in Star Wars.

Then again, I plan to go to Disney World in 2019 to see the new Star Wars themed expansion. That looks really cool.

Any "good" action movies coming out ? I don't mean all this bullshit cartoon characters. Exception being Deadpool, at least it was tounge in cheek funny.:2 cents:

When I watched "The Force Awakens" all I could think was, "do you know, I think I've seen this story line before somewhere.....IN THE FIRST FUCKING STAR WARS FILM!!!"

The Last Jedi was an abomination. JJ Abrams is going to have a major challenge fixing the mess Rian Johnson left him (and the franchise).

I have never seen an actor (Mark Hamill) come out and publicly slate a movie quite the way he has. It's like he basically couldn't hide his disgust. Especially while it was still showing in cinemas.

Speaks volumes to be honest. Good luck JJ. You have been left with a steaming pile of shit with some very uninteresting characters and a storyline which doesn't even make sense anymore.


Normally i go catch Star Wars movies 2 or 3 times before they come out on Blu-Ray. Then buy the Blu-Ray on it's release date.

I saw "The Last Jedi" once in the cinema and have zero interest in ever watching it again so that's one i won't be adding to my nerdy collection...

I hope Solo is as good as Rouge, apart from that ANH, Empire and Jedi... please don't speak of the others :.(

I heard really good things about the new Jackie Chan action movie, The Foreigner, will check it today.

The Foreigner is more of a thriller move, given that Jackie is getting on a bit now. He plays a retired spy who is seeking justice for his daughter death, but there is very little in action compared to his other films.

But does it worth watching?

Oh don't you worry, disney is gonna milk this cow for all it's worth.

I don't mind if they create good movies.
