Starbucks Settlement

The financial settlement the two black guys got wasn’t just $1!!!

“The men also reached a financial settlement with Starbucks, which offered to pay for them to complete their degrees through a partnership it has with Arizona State University.”

Yeah. Big windfall, fat wallets and major bling ..... While Starbucks IS paying an amount, it’s not going into their pockets. It will help with college costs

Those who thought they made out with big bucks? Nuh uh. Sure, now they’ll have more money thanks to Starbucks, but small colleges aren’t $50k/year. This gesture will calm people down while furthering the education of two men with a goal in life.

So no, they didn’t make a bundle of cash. They got an investment in their future

They went to Starbucks not to buy some coffee, but because of a "investment opportunity"

Right because there is no injustice or racism. It's all a setup.

That quote is from CNN. Haven’t delved into my news sites yet. I’ll see if any sites report it differently.

Technically, he’s right. They went to meet a guy who wanted to invest money in an idea they had. He’s the white guy arguing in the video that they did nothing wrong.

City settled for $1. Starbucks paid the balance for college. Unless I missed something which is possible!

I'll search tonight. Four hours of sleep so back to dreamland

i could care less :) the wording is off on these articles. it says a city settlement then rambles on to include starbucks to the $200,000 which is actually the city agreement not starbucks.
